The place is a hidden gem in the middle of the Flower Market. The place is very wide and has a wonderful vibe to it. In terms of... parking, they have validated parking on the street behind it but it’s quite a walk. Now the food, I had the Waffle ChickenSandwich and just talking about it makes my mouth drool. The chicken is lathered with sweet chili (that tastes like buffalosauce) and it blends very well with the honey they provide. Their menu is very appealing and is a website which can be accessedusing the QR code. Staff was attentive and were very friendly to inquire about with their food. The only reason I’m givingthis 4 stars is because of the restroom. I’m sure if they own the whole establishment, they would ensure the bathroom issqueaky clean. However, since it seemed to share it with the rest of the building, it’s not appealing and should be avoidedfor use. Read more

Poppy & Rose offers classic comfort food with a unique twist. They had several variations on chicken & waffles. I will almost... always order eggs Benedict if it’s on the menu. Poppy & Rose serves several different types of Benedicts. We ordered the FriedChicken Benedict, the Two Egg Breakfast Plate and a side order of one biscuit with sausage gravy. Their portions are big andtheir fried chicken was on point. I couldn’t eat all of the biscuits because the fried chicken pieces were so big. The chickenwas tender and juicy on the inside and had a nice crunch on the outside. The Benedict included a side salad which was lightlydrizzled in dressing. I would definitely order this Benedict again. The Two Egg Breakfast Plate was simple and delicious. Theyhave several lemonade choices. I ordered the refreshing blackberry lemonade. It wasn’t too sweet and I liked that it wasmuddled with real blackberries. Our waitress, Michelle, was excellent. She was friendly and pleasant & I appreciated her inputwhen deciding what I would order. The location itself was interesting. I made our reservation for outside, patio seating.
