Went there based on reviews, looked like an old restaurant but good service and good burgers indeed.

Patrias has been there since I Tina was a child..it's original... Before ricks hamburgers , but around the same time as... carnation where ricks hamburger is at ...today. Yes it was my grandmother's ice cream place and she served ice cream, I thinktwo flavors only ...untill 31 flavors was found. How ever patrias has great food. I'm happy ever time. I don't have a stove tocook on, so... I'm happy with those who cook for me... Thank a bunch and great food ! They done great and fixing up the place alittle...it's a family owned and it's not like those big hamburger stands but I'm hoping they would do a couple of touch ups. 1.Paint 2. Worst experience ever! Food is good, cooks are on point. But while eating there owner/manager decides to have a contractor... unclog a drain. The smell was horrible, almost threq up, everyone including myself left. Why would anyone do that when you havecustomers? Won't be back anytime soon. Guy needs to take a class on management. This place was sugeested on a 'best hidden cheeseburgers in LA' article. The cheeseburgers were good here. Wish the patties... were a little heftier as I felt more of the lettuce and other toppings overwhelming. Ordered the egg ala burger. Friesdefinitely needed more salt. Read more

First time, but not the last time! Impressed by the friendly staff, family owned feel and great food. Thank you Google for... another find! Carne asada fries are what got me in the door, the burgers and food for family will keep me coming back! They havea drive through and take credit card. You can order ahead and pick up. Places like this are quickly fast disappearing. I knew that they have high-quality onion rings right to my liking. Yet This is... the first time I've eaten inside after many visits to their drive-thru (standard buy: Hawaiian burger and onion ri ngs). Andafter living in the area for 20 years, I am abashed to say: This is also the first time I've ever had breakfast. I think theirpancakes are the best I've had in NELA. But this is also the first time I've ever had their slaw salad, and it's amazing. It'slike something youd get at some fancy Weinerschnitzel haus in Mitteleuropa. I might come back just for a big batch of that,and I'll try not to reverse engineer it. So I really like this place, and I hope the hipsters don't discover it. Read more
