Fine dining but confused and messy composition - Ambiance - Modern Japanese jazz / pop - a bit of a strange choice that... didn’t seem to have much cohesiveness with the food Small restaurant sitting - of about 15-18 people but comfortably spacedout. Decor is clean modern albeit a bit basic in taste. Sometimes simplicity work in its favor with taste, but this was anaverage modern clean open kitchen design Service is good and polite - but nothing out of the ordinary or remarkable. - Food- Prefixed menu of “5 courses” with an option to add one more. But really almost a menu of 10 items (many of which notshown) The menu design was just overall feels random. One example was a sweet potatoe ravioli, duck stew and truffles in atomato Italian-Indian sauce. The truffles felt completely misplaced that neither went with the ravioli nor the duck nor thesauce. The overall execution of the dishes were modern fine dining cuisine done well, but again was confused and difficult toconnect the dots between dish to dish. It’s almost as if you ordered à la crate - except you have no choices. Lastly butunfortunately not controlled, we had a very rude set of customer next to our table. Fantastic dining experience and the food was amazing! We made the reservation a month in advance on OpenTable. I recommend ride... share to the restaurant since parking is limited and the surrounding area is not the best. Service is top notch and pacing wasone of the best I've experienced. They tailor the pace to each table's progress. There were 6 other parties dining at the sametime and we finished first since we didn't add the optional course or wine pairing. While the menu talked about 5 courses, wewere pleasantly surprised to receive any gifts throughout the meal. Everything was tasty and well executed with a variety oftextures, tastes and presentation. I went there with my girlfriend to celebrate her birthday. Orsa & Winston is a fabulous restaurant with a reasonable price,... given it is a Michelin-starred restaurant in 2021 and 2019. The menu is fixed, which means you don't need to think about whatto order. We even got a few extra treats that day. I enjoyed the Satsuki rice porridge the most. I can't imagine how thecream and trout roe would be harmonized to a magical extent. In addition to top-notch food, I also enjoyed the cute atmosphereand good service there. Good fine dining experience. Place is very limited in capacity so make sure you reserve ahead of time. Parking is a pain but... it's worth it. Every dish was great. I am a fan of Japanese and Italian food. I don't usually like fusion restaurants but thisplace nailed it. My favorite dish was the supplemental course. The menu said it had uni but it did not. Still not complaining,it was delicious. Reminded me of a risotto but with scallops and roe. Service was also great. Really enjoyed the drinkrecommendations although there aren't cocktails. Orsa & Winston have 6 tables and few chairs in the bar, so I had reservations. There foods was beautiful decoration and they... made special sauce each dishes that was good combination with foods. They served organic wines from Europe those tasting wasgreat experience. Read more
