The Golden Beef hotpot is my go-to! Highly recommend it. Love how you can adjust the level of spice. ???? "If it's not spicy,... I'm not eating it." The flamin' spicy can deliver its heat. In a good way. ???? Read more

It's a similar version of Boiling Point, but worse quality. Most inexcusable was the service: I had asked whether they accepted... AMEX before being seated, the waiter said yes, then when the bill came, of course they said they don't take AMEX. If you'rethere near closing time, they will also tell you to rush your meal/kick you out despite being a late order. There's better foodand service in Westwood, spend your money elsewhere. Read more

Pretty good. I ordered no1. The portion is good. I like the taro and cabbage inside. (Medium spicy is not spicy for me?

Really disappointed. We love Northern Cafe and were so excited when their hot place restaurant opened but the food is sadly very... disappointing. Both items we ordered were full of low-quality ingredients. The strip steak was mostly composed of blood vessels. The luncheon meat was worse than a public school cafeteria's. The fish products all tasted suspiciously identical. The broth wasbland. The vegetables looked about a week old and were undercooked. I also found 3 hard bits in my Hot Pot, that I could notidentify and had to stop eating. The whole experience was frankly disgusting. Not at all what I would expect from NorthernCafe. Read more

This is my favorite personal-size hotpot restaurant! #10 hot pot with crispy pork are the perfect combo! I love the flavor so... much that I always finish everything when I come here. The complimentary drinks during the lunch time are also really amazing, especially the winter melon tea. Read more

Came for the second time because we enjoyed it so much the first time. The experience this time was slightly less enjoyable. It... was still tasty, but I feel like there was less stuff in the pot and not enough veggies. We did order extra lamb for $5.95 andthey put it in the pot instead of on the side, which may have meant there was less space for veggies. The sweet potato frieswere tasty but slightly overcooked, and possibly used old oil to fry because they were so dark. I think we will still returnwhen we crave hot pot because it is the best in the area and the flavors are good. Read more

I really liked eating here, they put a lot of care into each hot pot. Tea is included and there are some tasty fried dishes like... crispy pork to try. Only thing is that I wish the beef broth had more flavor. Read more

What a cute place! I liked the decor and the walls the most. The hotpots were okay, not too impressive. The soup base was a bit... too salty for my taste. However, the variety of stuff in the soup was good, especially the veggies and fish cakes. I was notimpressed with the meat, especially beef, which was pretty much all fat or lard. #8 Golden Beef was all fat, no meat! #1 SpicyBeef was leaner. #2 was spicy hot, but it lacked depth. It tasted like just hot water, no flavor that made the soup base to beinteresting. I love hotpot, but not just fatty meat. I need more than that! Read more
