Delicious, huge portions (so, order sparingly) you get a lot for the price in terms of pita bread, rice , pickled veggies and... sauce so I typically go for the shawarma plate ! It?s all outdoor seating and very relaxed vibe. Read more
What a gem in West Adams. The food was BOMB. everything is super fresh and the ambiance is great. It was super busy when we went... but were able to find a table. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and Ialso Ordered the chicken shewarma plate which came with a side and pita. The pita was nice and fresh. Food was great, nice open seating near warm heaters. Sumac fries could have been slightly more crisp. Pickle sides are to die... for. Order the sumac fries well done. Now the cauliflower is served like I've never seen before where they give you two quarterwedges of a whole cauliflower not very well seasoned and a little oily. So buyer beware of what you're getting, sharing is alsohard cause you have to break off from the core. The portions are huge and great value for the money. The brussel sprouts wereprobably the highlight of our meal though after getting halfway through it you have had enough. I could use kids portions. Afterclimbing at Cliffs this is a great spot to eat. This place is TASTY. We got chicken shewarma plates, the crispy broccoli, and a tahini shake. Not a crumb left over (not that... they skimp on the portion sizes!) The produce/herbs on the plates were super bright and fresh, and the flavors of the dish wereperfectly balanced. The meat had just the right smoky char to it. Also I typically am repulsed by broccoli but this one didsomething for me. So you know what to expect: you?ll have to find some street parking, then you enter on through a patio dooraround the corner from Adams. You?ll order and pay at the counter, then find a table on the patio or sidewalk (all of theseating is outdoors, but it is well sheltered from the elements.
