Fair price, good food.
If you place a prepaid order online, brace yourself for surprises. Apparently a customer that has already paid is not an... important customer. In our case we waited for an hour for the order to be ready. On top of that, they used bread that wespecifically stated we do not want. Unfortunately, some businesses, this one included, cannot handle increased demand and thequality drops substantially. I do not recommend this location of Mendocino Farms. Read more
Every time I go back to eat at Mendocino, I find that both the food and the service has gone down further. I recently went back... for a Not-So-Fried chicken salad. The path to ordering is blocked off by upside down chairs. So how do you order? At the orderpickup register. The person at the register asked me about what I want in the salad, and which sauce I wanted. After paying andadding a tip, she informed me that I would be getting my order to go and I can eat it in. I stood in another random linewaiting for the order. No buzzer. No calling your name. Just a bunch of paper bags on the counter. Behind the counter? Totalchaos. Not to mention that none of the people preparing your food is wearing a mask. At the end, I picked up my order and left,only to find out by the time I sat down to eat that I was given the wrong kind of greens and that they forgot to include thedressing. What a shame! I used to love this place. For $15, you can get a nicer salad somewhere else. Read more
Do not order during lunchtime if you expect to get your food within any reasonable amount of time. I placed an order at noon,... was quoted that it would be ready at 1pm and it’s 1:30 and I still don’t have my food. It's like this everyday and I feelbad for the staff because you can tell they're working as quickly as possible, they just need more people and betterorganization. Management needs to do better. Highly recommend the vegan banh mi! There is usually at least one vegan item on the deli menu as well, so I tend to do the 1/2... sandwich combo. Read more
Covid, ordered to go from outside. It took a little longer than expected, so we took a walk around the block. I returned and... tried the Bistro Steak Sandwich. Wow! Outstanding! Read more
It's terrific to have a Mendocino Farms locally in town. The staff is super friendly the place is very clean and the food is... served in record time and is absolutely delicious. You must try their Peruvian steak sandwich and their curry couscous. Even ifyou don't like Curry this curry couscous is out of this world and everyone that I've made try it that doesn't like Curry lovesit. They have an array of Wonderful premium that sodas on tap spacious full of light. A great place to dine in and relax or takeit to go. For a quick to-go order there's a couple Start parking spots in front dedicated for that purpose otherwise there'salso additional parking in the underground parking below. Everyone that works there seems to actually enjoy working there withjust such a trait I highly recommend it. Read more
Update - quality control has deteriorated too. Besides vegetables that have turned yellow and even brown, they can’t honor... customer request very well either. When people ask for no scallions no cilantro they mean it…please be careful. And when avegan ask to sub tofu please dont just grab meat out of a bowl and put tofu in when you forgot the first time. Just start over.How you did it (twice) was gross and disrespectful. Similar to another recent review, my complaint is about how slow this placeis, and my office orders from here 10-15x a month. For delivery, it’s just the same kind of slow as pickup orders. This placetakes 90-100 minutes to prepare simple salads during lunch time. Although it’s rush hours, something is definitely wrong withthe process, as no other restaurants are THIS SLOW! Dropping a few ingredients in a box should not take that long. Or maybe therestaurant is taking so many orders that it can’t handle. If that’s the case that you have so many orders, why do you stillhave vegetables that seem expired? Yellow romaine…rotten spinach…etc. Can’t believe all this. Read more
