Don't hesitate to stop in! Being such an iconic spot in Hollywood I was excited to enjoy a meal here. What's cool is you're... able to select music over the jukeboxes that are set up around the restaurant. Music selection is solid, but the food is evenmore so. There are some great photos around the place of celebrities who have dined here as well. The food is absolutelydelicious. Service is friendly and prompt. I read reviews and someone said the sunset burger was the ?best burger? they ever had. Those are strong words. So I decided to... try it. Let me tell you what?s in it. it?s only toasted bread, cheese, icebergs lettuce, red onion, and pickles. No spread orsauce and some dry as* patty. Yes the service are bad as well. The food was great. It lived up to its expectations. The sweet potato fries were crispy and had a good flavor. Sometimes, other... places cook them & they are tasteless and soggy but these were excellent. The omelette was a large size and also full of flavor& tasted as the description read. The only issue I had, which wasn?t a big one, was that the table was sticky & the restaurantwas so packed that our service was a bit slow (for refills). That speaks volumes for how good the food is. Came here after walking around Hollywood a bit and wasn't expecting much but I was surprised tbh. First the ambience is... fantastic giving you that fantastic old school diner vibe. I really enjoyed seeing the old music boxes on the tables with theturnstile knob to select a song. Haven't seen those since I was a kid in NJ. Now on to the food. I ordered the BLT on white withfries and wasn't disappointed because as some know I love bacon lol. Crunchy and tasteful and the fries were really good too. Mywife had ordered the chicken fingers and she too said they were really, really good. I sampled a bite, crunchy and flavorful.The service was a bit slow but I believe they only had 2 waitresses working but she was working her heart out.
