This place is ridiculous on their prices and their Seafood is not the best. I don't understand why people go there but one time... is all it took for me just for three tostadas it was $ $40 it's ridiculous I don't see myself ever going and spending money onthat place unless we go to the blue truck that parks at Sycamore Park that place is amazing. ???? Ohhh man, sooo good!!! This is easily 11/10 This is LA top 10 places to go. My family and me decided go visit after watching... the famous Youtuber Mark Weins recommended this food truck! The shrimp tacos and empanadas are so delicious! Cooked toperfection, crunchy exterior and exploding in flavours! A must get for sure!! 2nd the tostadas are filled with fresh deliciousseafood! Super generous portions and with crisp onions and tomatoes! Don’t forget to drink the remaining juice. Finally shoutout to the owners and Eddie their close friend! Super social and friendly! If you’re reading this Eddie, thank you foreverything, bless you! Read more

Make sure to call to confirm they’re open! Scallop, shrimp, and real crab tostadas are spicy and briney and amazing on a hot... day. They ran out of some items because we got there late, but we’re not disappointed. If the vibe is right, take them up on amichelada offer, served out of a plastic quart container. Read more

The food was good, not great but good. We ordered two ceviche mixtas 2 small bags of chips and a jarritos. The reason I'm giving... this place two stars is because the lady overcharges you sometimes. One time I was there had to ask her hey where's my change? It says the jarritos and the chips are only this much and was just like oh I forgot. She did it again last time I was there andI didn't even bother I just got my food took off and im not coming back Read more

Looking for some fresh mariscos estilo mazatlan? Then come to Mariscos El Faro food truck located in Highland Park. They get... busy during the lunch rush but the mother and son duo tackle each order with full speed and perfect service. My personalfavorite was the mackerel tostada and the shrimp empanadas, followed by the oyster shot and the coctel. If you are craving somefresh seafood then come here and check them out. Read more

MÉXICO ???????? (Sinaloa) Eat the World LA review: The line of wind-bent palms on the north side of Figueroa set a dramatic... scene under which the Mariscos El Faro truck has been living for half a decade now, with a front row seat to the changingcharacter of the neighborhood. Unfortunately only the grounds of the Highland Park Recreation Center live on the other side ofthe trees rather than the Sinaloan paradise beaches in and around Mazatlán, but with mariscos dishes styled in the manner ofthat city, a park bench does just fine for focusing on tostadas and cocteles. Mazatlán, the birthplace of the owner andpopular tourist and resort destination within México, is of course known for its incredible seafood, featuring catch fresh fromthe Pacific. It is a part of life, and a part of the lives of anyone who visits. If you have ever tasted aguachile around town, you know that it can knock you down with a pepper-tinged slap in the face. Here at El Faro it seems that they want you toexperience the shrimp, sliced cucumbers, and crushed chiltepin, a small, round red pepper common in the aguachiles and mariscosof Sinaloa. The heat is not overwhelming at all, but might get a bead of sweat or two going. The cooling qualities of the dishare always fascinating, and feel wonderful in any season but offer extra in hot summer months. Read more
