Let me tell you why I think this place is worth your time: - first off, the food is delicious and the portions are perfect. ... Generous on the maduros and the meat. - family recipes with unique twists. Pork is slow cooked for 6 hours and is super juicy. -friendly owner (Noel) who takes the time to give recommendations / ask for critique. - street parking available on nearbyneighborhood streets. - fairly priced all things considered. Best Cuban sandwich I?ve had in LA so far! Bread is toasted to perfection and the meat is beyond juicy + packed with... flavor. Little cup of beans was also very yummy and the perfect side. Highly recommend to any Cuban food lovers and also foranyone that?s new to trying the cuisine. Easy way to jump right in as the menu is clear and simple. Note : this place is a tiny(but cute) order at the counter spot with couple cafe tables out front , so best for a quick bite or to go - planaccordingly(: Also shoutout to the owner , super friendly dude with good vibes. We got our first order with Uber Eats. The Cuban bowl was good, but the beans were still pretty hard. Those black beans need a... lot of cooking! The side dish of beans is very skimpy for the price. Make it a little bigger guys. The bread of the Cubansandwich wasn't crispy enough. The yucca fries haven't been available per the owners , so we ordered the potato waffles. Oh my goodness! Best Cuban sandwich in LA by far. Maybe the best I've ever had including Miami. The pulled pork is perfect. The... ham couldn't be better. The mustard and all the other ingredients are perfect. Real Cuban bread toasted to perfection! It camewith a little side of beans and I couldn't get enough of those either. Update. I'm eating my way through the whole menu. ThePhilly Cuban was incredible! I just had a sandwich that was so good I forgot it's name. I think it might be the jamon withcroquette. Their Cuban Cafe con leche is perfect also. Another update. As I predicted I'm eating my way through the whole menu.The chicken sandwich was one of the most flavorful chicken sandwiches I've ever had. The onions are caramelized to perfection.I've also tried the tostones now and they are the best I've ever had. Better than my Cuban friend makes at home better than theones I make at home! Ordered Cuban Philly bowl & spinach empanadas. Oh my! Simply amazing! Very flavorful & absolutely delicious! 100% recommended
This was by far the best Cuban sandwich and empanadas I?ve ever had! The empanadas were fried fresh to order. I?ve been to so... many authentic places that had them already made and in a hot box. Nothing against that, but these are next level. The seasoningwas on-point and I couldn?t even make it home before finishing the empanadas. The chicken and spinach & cheese were FIRE. Icould only eat half of the cuban before I got full and it?s like I have a present waiting in the fridge for me for dinner. Itkept hot all the way until I got home and had a nice crunch when my teeth perforated the crust. Everything about the experiencewas A+.
