Lumiere is a perfect place to have a nice, elegant and sophisticated dinner. The ambience is cozy but at the same time very... luxury. Every single dish is delicious. If you?re lucky enough to be served by Robert his smile and graciousness will make youfeel like a family member. It was an amazing experience having dinner here. Read more

Lumiere is a great place inside the Fairmont Century Plaza hotel. This french brassiere is delightful. The french onion soup is... outstanding. A craveable dish you?ll return for with gruyere cheese and a savory , meaty broth. The bibb lettuce salad wasdelicately dressed and the freshly made baguette and European butter were excellent. Service here is attentive and friendly fromthe valet to the hostess to the server. It was a quiet Saturday night for them mostly because hotel occupancy is way down. Sothis is a great find you may be able to get in easily with high quality food and a beautiful upscale french brasseriedecor. Construction in the area makes it a little hard to find the driveway but well worth the extra effort. Read more

Wow what an amazing dining experience! This restaurant is gorgeous down to every detail. It has an upscale, yet warm and... comfortable atmosphere. This restaurant is perfect for a date night, group meal, or business dinner. The service from everyonewas fantastic. Our server, Spencer, was so attentive and knowledgeable - he never skipped a beat and made for such a greatexperience! The food was exceptional! The French onion soup is a must, rich, cheesy, and delicious! The chicken liver mousse isperfectly balanced with an olive oil jam that is so creative. We enjoyed the sea bass, which was perfectly seared and light andtender and the duck confit, which is classically prepared and fall off the bone. We didn?t leave a single bite behind! A caramelapple galette with bay leaf ice cream was the perfect ending. Decadent, but not overly sweet or heavy. The wine list isextensive and very thoughtful. Even alcohol free wine is offered. The cocktails are imaginative and perfectly balanced. Read more

Staying in the Fairmont Century Plaza for a work conference, and I decided to check out their respective restaurant after... walking to the elevators and smelling something absolutely heavenly. The decor is gorgeous. This really interesting eclectic mixbetween a French Cafe and a late Victorian apothecary. The host was extremely friendly, led me to a really cool table. My serverwas incredible, Christoph had great recommendations. I got oysters, the chicken breast, and roasted squash. The oyster was freshand had these really complimentary sauces, easily one of my favorite cocktail sauces I've had, a little bit spicy too. Thechicken breast was in this incredible sauce, it was so good I ate the onions and I HATE onions. The skin on the chicken wascrispy and stuffed with this really fancy sauce that bursted out when you cut into it. Finally the roasted squash was theperfect consistency with crispy pistachios on top. Really quality meal with even better service. I ate alone but Christoph wasso warm and kind I never felt lonely Read more

Excellent experience from start to finish. Great staff, food, and ambiance. The seafood towers are stupendous, and the chicken... liver mousse will make a vegan see the light. Don't sleep on the Eggplant dish, or crispy French fries. Read more
