Waited 1 hour for food. Food was not worth the wait. They brought our appetizer when we were ready to leave. We specified no... jalapeños on our appetizer and of course there were jalapeños in it. The mango juice was fire though. Read more

Came here for date night. Unfortunately, an hour from closing but they still served us. They gave us our food in to-go plates... conveniently. The tea was delicious, we had the veggie platter and a side of lamb in a red sauce. Wish I took pictures and wrotedown the names of the dishes. It was delicious!!! This place is truly a hidden gem. With an easy to miss exterior, they were only serving takeout at the time of arrival, but they... accommodate us and we ate outside. The veggie platter was so good that my wife and I argued about its quality relative to thequeen Meals by Genet. The owner was so kind, he ended up selling me a bag of injira despite initially saying he didn't reallyhave enough to sell. Can't say enough about our new favorite Ethiopian lunch place (Genet isn't open for lunch, and we're neardowntown more often than Fairfax).
