Been a fan of La Morra since they were taking orders in the parking lot of Tabula Rasa in Hollywood! If you?re a fan of... Neapolitan style pizza, fresh ingredients, and creative toppings (though the classic staples work too!) I can?t recommend thisplace enough. You can also buy their pizzas frozen on their website! Pizza is good, but not soo good that I?m willing to put up with bad customer service. Wish they cared more about their... customers, pizzas aren?t cheap, I?ve bought from them for years but I?m always disappointed in the customer service when I eathere. On my last visit, the front window on thirst street was closed and no one was there even though they were open. I had tocall and ask to be helped and then like always my pizza took too long to make. Pizza is good but they take FOREVER to make it. I feel like they get the flour and water out when you place an order. They even... tell you it?s ready, then you have to wait another 10-15 min. Read more

La Morra is the special pizza place L.A has been secretly needing for a decade. It's thin and delicate and flavorful and... absolutely scrumptious. It's a pizza loaded with fresh flavors and marinara that tastes like it was made from tomatoes pickedfresh. It's not pretentious, but it has every right to be. It's named after a beautiful river region in the Piemonte area ofItaly. The owners are so sweet and kind, and this is a great way to grab incredible pie and support local businesses. MUST.TRY. Hidden gem for sure. Located across from the Walgreen, hidden in plain sight, this place would be the only reason I don't... calamari or chowder from the wharf. Very customizable and fast service, this pizza is served on exquisite thin crust. Read more

I'm not big on bread. I've been known to eat the inside of a sandwich and leave the bread behind. On big doughy slices of pizza,... I'll eat the toppings and leave the entire crust behind. But I do have a weak spot for thin crust pizza. Especially a soft crustwith a nice chew. I'll eat an entire slice of that. Crust and all! La Morra Pizzeria has the type of pizza I'm looking for. OnSaturday, September 12th around 1:45pm, Rodney H and I stopped by for lunch. Read more

Really great quality pizza. Great choices of pies. The two I got were the cinque formaggi & the Bianco. The dough for both were... amazing, great leoparding on the dough, just like a good Neapolitan pie should be. Everything from the ricotta to the red pepperflakes on the side were high quality. You can tell this is a place giving quality attention to detail. Read more
