This is a great coffee shop with sweet bread/ pan dulce. The bread is pretty good. I like that they have several filling options... as well, including chocolate, guava, cream cheese. I like the Jamaica drink, which they can make into a smoothie for thesesummer days. Staff is very friendly and the place is clean. Read more

Staff was wonderful and attentive. I mostly come in for their seasonal bread like their Day of the Dead Bread and King's Cake.... Make sure to come early in the day for the freshest items if you plan to buy in bulk and share. Read more

So make sure you give them your number. The place was very super duper???? clean. I boughtthe Salsa Verde Beef/green salsa Burrito. It was delicious. I have tried the Chipotle as well and the Mole Tacos their all great????. I also bought the Oatchata Latte hot coffee, great smooth taste. Made with oat milk. A very inviting, modern and cool bakery-coffee shop combo, with excellent costumer service, freshly-made delicious Mexican... pastries and a wonderful menu of food and coffee drinks. I personally love their "cafe de olla," a Mexican style "pot coffee"with cinnamon flavor and sweetened with brown sugar, and their Cafe Oaxaca, which is a Mexican hot chocolate plus espresso. Myfavorites pastries are the "trenzas" of cheese and jalapenos and "cuernos" of guava. I've also tried and recommend theirvegetarian Mollete Chorizo among the meals they have for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The place is impecable and spacious, withseveral tables for eating in. They always have a good mix of music playing and also free wi-fi. This Lincoln Heightsbakery/cafe may be among the most spacious of La Monarca's many locations in the L.A. region. Read more

AWESOME!!!!!!!! Was in the area for work, craving a breakfast taco. Walked around a few blocks checking out other "highly... rated" places on Google Maps. But was absolutely horrified at cleanliness of some of those places. I don't need food poisoningso I passes on those. 4th try was La Monarcha. This place is spectacular. This is the hispanic version of a Panera Bread...bigbakery counters filled with BEAUTIFUL bakery items with a mexican flair. The lady behind the counter offered me a sample of thecakes and WOW...DELICIOUS! I left with two wonderful breakfast tacos and an AWESOME Mexican flavored mocha. Did not realizeuntil later in the day that this was a chain of some sort when we passed another location. I REALLY wish they had a location inDenver where I'm from. Have not seen anything this good back home at all. Read more

Very nice Mexican Bakery, many options, lots of pastries, they also have Mexican sandwiches and tacos. Good variety of coffees.... The staff is super friendly, their motto is "we want to make you feel at home"... They offer samples if you can't decide what toorder. As far as taste it's overall average, but nice enough to come back! Read more

Awesome bakery with a modern earth tone interior. Lively ambieant music. The fresh baked pastries are displayed beautifully... with a nice assortment of classic and savory bakedgoods. I ordered the iced tres leches latte, iced cinnamon coffee, chickenmole torta and vegetarian chorizo torta. They were delicious! Read more
