DO NOT GO HERE! THIEVES! THEY ADD TIPS TO YOUR CARD WITHOUT TELLING YOU! I was very excited to try this place today and food was... actually okay. But when it came to paying the lady gave me a handwritten bill then when it came to paying she took my card andasked me how much I wanted to tip, I told her how much and she put it in herself and didn?t give me my printed card receipt, Ihad to ask for it and when she gave it to me SHE HAD ADDED EXTRA DOLLAR!!! Outdoor patio so I can enjoy my meal with my 4 legged friend was great they even put out a water bowl for him. I'm not a fish... person at all but the server recommended the mackerel and I loved it. Presentation was amazing the plates come out steaming hotso it's like a mini show too. Dol sot bibimbap was absolutely perfect nice chewy crunchy rice at the bottom. Definitely order anything BBQ here cause it comes out smoking/sizzling on the hot plate. We came here for lunch. They have a... bunch of lunch combos. Our group of 5 ordered the Galbi combo, chicken & shrimp combo, Spicy Pork combo, Chicken & beef comboand the beef combo. All the BBQ meats were yummy. Chicken was tender. Galbi was pretty tender and flavorful. Spicy pork waslightly spicy. Only meat that was so so was the beef so I would stay away from that. Each lunch combo comes with a miso soup(just ok), rice and 4 types of banchan - bean sprouts (no flavor), pickled cucumber (good), kimchi (just ok), and potato salad(ok). Overall a pretty good deal. Large portion for around $20/combo (minus the galbi that was $27), I don't know if theyvalidate for parking so we parked at the Aiso parking lot. There is also metered parking. Service was ok. I happened to be in DTLA for business yesterday and wanted to eat here since I haven't eaten here since I retired in 2017 and... I'm sure glad nothing has changed. I had frequented this place since 2002 and it was always a go-to place for lunch when I wasat work. And going yesterday, ordering some of the same items I used to, and finding out that it was just a delicious as Iremember was a happy and welcome flashback to a lot of fond memories. First time trying this place The food was great But customer service is super bad, the server witch happens to be the owner... comes to us to take our orders with this word ?YES? without even asking if we were ready to order. But definitely what Idisliked the most was the way he treats his employees screaming at them. I hope they get a good tip because they deserve it,they work hard back there to bring the food out fast.
