I have driven past this Joom for years...Finally, we decided to stop for dinner. It was so nice an d cozy inside that we decided... to stay instead of taking to-go. I am so happy that we did. The service was very engaging, and efficient. The food wasdelicious...make sure that you order the Garlic Rice with something! All of the flavours were able to present without gettingmuddied or over-done, or too salty. I can't wait to go back and try the Panang. I think this is my new favorite local Thai foodrestaurant. Thanks! ???? Read more
Ordered take out. Large portion of beef pad Thai but it had zero flavor and was very dry. The papaya salad was tasty but was a... tiny portion. The coconut soup was just ok. Read more
First of all the service is amazing. You really feel welcome and taken care of. Fries Wontons are amazing. Try the chicken one,... simple flavors and quite large to be wontons. But so good. The green curry is perfect! Not to much coconut, perfect heat, andnicely served. Fried rice with calamari is a hit! Includes a lot of fresh vegetables. I'm very picky when it comes to Thaifood, and this place nailed it. Authentic food with high quality on ingredients. We are definitely coming back and I think thatthis is our new favorite Thai food place in LA. The restaurant is not the sexiest, but the food and service compensate big timefor that! Read more
This is a small restaurant. I ordered satay and panang curry with scoop of white rice and thai ice tea and a water. The satay... was so tender and the peanut sauce was good too. The panang curry was great. It was thick and flavorful. Customer service wasgood except at 3:58pm she said, "They close at 4:00pm." I came in at 3:00pm for lunch. Read more
The staff was really nice. The food was not. The green curry had less flavor than a YouTube influencer. The drunken noodles were... so hot that I cried a little... Then threw both meals in the trash. Read more
I don?t know what happened to this place. It was fantastic for years, but more recently the quality has taken a nosedive. The... vegetable dishes are soggy and drowned in a sickly sweet liquid, overwhelming amount of carrots, way overcooked. The Satay wasflavorless and seemed to have been steamed. The last three visits were almost inedible. I decided to try again after a year, butit was just as disappointing. I?ve been eating Thai food in LA for 40+ years, and in all this time, I?ve only had a bad meal inone other place, so it seems hard to ruin it, but they did it. I feel bad about this, because the owners are very nice and Ihate to say something bad about their business, but they really need a new cook. Maybe it?s COVID and a worker shortage, maybeI?ve been ordering the wrong things, I don?t know. I see a lot of great reviews. I ordered Pad Thai (okay), Ginger Fried Fish,Pad Woon Sen and Satay, and all were overcooked, soupy, bad vegetables and too-sweet aftertaste. I hope they can get ittogether. Read more
Curry tasted like sugary coconut milk with a little spice - the sugar was unbareable! Spring rolls were gross and the tofu fried... rice was tasteless. Probably the worst thai food I?ve ever had - curry out of a box or frozen from TJs tastes better Read more
