Our room was right next to an alley way where we heard a lot of noise at midnight. We thought it?d be fine and get through it,... but it became too much once I realized it was vibrating the pipes of the bathroom. We called the front desk asking to move toanother room and they accommodated our request. Based on how quickly they understood, I wondered if they knew of the issuepreviously already. I was disappointed that they even put us in that room in the first place, but glad they were able to give usthe different room. The new room was nicer and bigger, but the bed was a full size instead of king. Read more

Hotel Normandie was our "wedding hotel" for our wedding weekend. Our wedding party, family, and friends all stayed here and it... was a blast having everyone in such close proximity for those few days. I worked closely with the manager J.R., for planning andmy million questions leading up to the weekend and he was just fantastic. He truly went above and beyond in so many aspects toensure that we had the best experience possible during such a special weekend. In addition to J.R., the staff in general was sokind and accommodating to our rowdy group. We were so grateful! In addition to the incredible customer service and kindness onbehalf of the staff, the hotel itself was so cool, vintage, and unique. The rooms and accommodations were great. We reserved twosuites to hang out with our wedding parties and me and my girls got ready in the conference room. Me and my husband did ourfirst look on the rooftop and they were just the most beautiful photos. Everything was made possible through J.R. and we willforever be grateful! Read more

Nice location for K-town. The rooms were very clean. They serve wine in the lobby for happy hour. Pro tip.... Make sure you ask... for a room away from the alley, so noisy very early in the morning. Read more

One of my favorite hotels I've stayed at. Room was very clean and I love the shower pressure. I love the look and the free wine... in the evening is a great touch. Read more

I loved this place. It's an old LA building, lots of charm and character, yet the rooms are updated and slick! The service is... impeccable. I wandered in at midnight after a disastrous experience at a different hotel. The gentleman at the front desk wastotally accommodating and even gave me a bit of a discount, even though I had no reservation. My room was really nice, they havehardwood floors with rugs and a super comfortable bed. I highly recommend this hotel. It is worth every penny! Read more

At this hotel I understood that Historical hotel means old everything, dirty and nasty with a really bad smell. It is not... necessary for historic hotel to have broken tale, leaking shower and ugly carpet. Old furniture and "About us" story is enough. I wear my shoes all the time in my room. My children showered in flip flops. The room service is per request only. What's goodthat it is dog friendly hotel and dog fee is 50$. But you can't leave your dog in the room alone. Beautiful lobby but again badsmell. Complimentary wine everyday is nice too. Read more

Would like to commend Allen from front desk. Haha! I had sometrouble with my card but he was very chill and handled it flawlessly. Read more
