We learned of this restaurant through a puzzle in The Last Bookstore in Downtown LA. We tried the $35 special restaurant week... lunch combo which included their classic skewers, and paired it with a sake. Everything was extremely good, and the chickenskewers were one of the softest I have ever had, across cuisines! Highly recommended! Read more

Just happened to find Hatch (yakitori & bar) and super glad I did. I ended up getting the mushroom party and pee wee potato... yakitori and the corn fritters. Glad they had veggie options. This modern Yakitori (Japanese grilled skewer) place is just below Sheraton Grand LA in the open air mall, the BLOC. Don’t... expect it to be like the Yakitori restaurants in Japan. The food is more modern but just as delicious. Their selectionsincluding squid ink are probably the better items on the somewhat limited menu.
