I had the mini sampler and all of them are great. Yum! The Armando Palmero drink was excellent as well. I like the cup that they... use that you can drink with the lid covered without using a straw. I came to this building to try the food at Ricebox andaccidentally found Guisados afterwards since it?s nearby and had good reviews. The #1 taco spot in LA in my book. If you?ve never tried it, you definitely don?t want to miss out on this place. If you have... tried it.. then you know exactly what I?m talking about. There are several locations in DTLA, Echo Park, West Hollywood, BeverlyHills, East LA, Pasadena, and Burbank. All offering the same delicious recipes for tacos. This is another must try! Just your average Taco place to go to at 2AM after the clubs, the tacos were okay in my opinion, not a wow factor, but just an... average taco place for late night cravings. The best taco was the pescado and the shrimp tacos in my opinion. Read more
Found this place after a day of shopping in the garment district and so glad we did. The food was very delicious and fresh. I... highly recommend the fish taco.The habanero salsa was good and had a real kick to it. The employees were also very nice. Alizewas helpful in giving us a run down of the menu as it was our first visit. I can't remember the man's name who worked theregister but he was kind enough to let us try a sample of their sangria which was good and refreshing. My only regret is that welive in San Diego and not close by. If/when I come back to LA, i will definitely give them another try. Read more

The tacos are delicious with very unique flavors and bunch to choose from too. They also have a good selection of drinks and... Aguas. The service is fast and the workers are very helpful. Only downside is this is in DTLA and the parking situation isawful. Read more
With so many taco spots in LA, you'd think nothing could surprise you after a few years living here. Guisados is one of those... restaurants that continues to deliver excellent flavors even years after my last visit (maybe 5-6 years ago?). The cochinitaspibil, although gaining popularity in other taco spots, is still somewhat of a rare find! I highly recommend trying it. They doit excellently here as with their mole poblano. The chicken tamale was very good with a light and flavorful masa - the egg ontop was the perfect addition. Read more
