Reviews for Gigi's in Los Angeles, CA
I've been wanting to try out this place, loved the decor and overall atmosphere inside. We were seated outside in the patio,... right on the curbside of the parking structure next door, lol. I really enjoyed the house bread and butter, smoked trout andbeet tartare. Cocktails were very well crafted, and they have quite an extensive wine list. Unfortunately we didn't get to trywhat we really wanted, but the food was adequate. Read more

Delicious overall but there were a couple Of glaring gaps, like the bland chicken liver mousse and dry roasted chicken. Their... weird looking bread and salted butter is FANTASTIC as were the horseradish sugar snap peas. Good dessert options too. Read more
Tonight was my first time having dinner here and it was a very pleasant experience. There are some very questionable recent... reviews by what look like bots so I’m not sure what’s going on with that story but I can attest that I am indeed not a botand everyone at our table had a good experience. Our server Kelsey did a great job as well. The inside is really well donewith beautiful wall paper and the whole restaurant is built around the open, square bar. There is also seating outside in thefront and on the side. It would certainly classify as a classy California French style bistro in my opinion. It’s also southof the busy part of Hollywood so parking here is a lot easier than it would be a few blocks North. I started off with the SteakTartare and it was great. A very healthy sized portion of meat and also a large side of bread. It was actually more filling thanI am used to with this dish and I would certainly recommend it. For my entrée I chose the Halibut and I was pleasantlysurprised with how bright and delicious it was. For dessert we chose the beignets which were not quite as good as the otherdishes, I would say 4 out of 5. They weren’t as moist as I like them. Some of the best I’ve had in SoCal are still atDisneyland weirdly enough. Overall a great meal in a classy location. I would recommend to any fan of French cuisine. Doesn’tseem like a business sort of place, rather a place for a date or dinner with friends or family. Read more
I’m local to Hollywood and have driven by this place multiple times since it’s opening. Finally decided tonight I’d pop in... for a bite and some wine. I saw at least 10 unoccupied tables so I thought tonight’s the night. Upon arriving, I wasimmediately disappointed by my greeting. I didn’t have a reservation but was sure they’d be able to accommodate consideringhow many tables were visibly open. I told the hostess with the sparkling eye shadow I only had an hour and wanted wine and aquick bite. To keep it short, the only response I got was a rude, short No. They were booked. There wasn’t even an effort totry to accommodate especially since I only had an hour and they could turn the table pretty fast. Didn’t expect Gigi’s couldachieve that level of snottiness but they did. Will never go back. Read more
Get the burger. Skip the broccolini, escargot (could use more flavor and salt). The branzino was good but the burger and fries... were exceptional. Read more

Despite many people recommending this place, was surprisingly let down by our Saturday night reservation. A limited menu is fine... (only 14-15 items total), but when nearly half of it is not available, it’s a bit frustrating. That aside, the food andcocktails were good (no complaints minus the steak being mediocre at best and brought at the incorrect temperature) but did notjustify the price IMO ($275 for two of us with three courses and two cocktails each). Being new to LA, was excited to trysomewhere with so many recommendations but overall left feeling let down. Read more
