I felt very offended when I came and asked for my order for DoorDash. If you?re at work working and it?s too hot for you or... uncomfortable maybe you should find another job but you?re not gonna discriminate or act racist towards me. Good value. The bread is really good nice crust and and chewy. Half a sandwich is good size for a single person so splitting is... easy. No indoor seating you order at one window and pick up at another. Read more
Super unique place! The veggie burger was delicious. I?d definitely order that again. My bf ordered the Philly cheesesteak... sandwich? he said it wasn?t that great.. In my opinion. The Philly cheesesteak fries were not worth the buy. The fries weredry, the meat was bland/wiggly, and there was nothing special about the fries as a whole.. I was in the area for a performance at Geffens Playhouse just down the street from Fat Sals so I figured now would be the... perfect chance to try it out. When I came, it was a Sunday at around 5:30 pm, the place was empty. There was ample seating(outdoors only) and umbrellas to shield you from the sun. The menu is on a very large wall, very easy to see and as elaborate assome of the options were, it was pretty easy to navigate. The man who took our order was very nice and patient. We ended upordering a triple cheeseburger, an order of cheeseburger fries, the phillycheesesteak fries, an order of 6 mozarella sticks, and2 drinks. Our total came out to 56 dollars which was a little pricey in my opinion for the quality of the food you get. Thecheeseburger was fine, the mozarella sticks were good (the marinara sauce and ranch were a bit watery/not very flavorful), butthe fries were sooo dissapointing. Our cheeseburger fries and phillycheesesteak fries hardly had any meat on them. I ordered thephillycheesesteak fries as an entree, and I finished the entire plate but was still left unsatisfied. I don't agree with the 4.5star rating, but I can kind of understand why this place has such high reviews. It's open late, located near a big college, andI'm sure many students come here after a night of drinking/smoking. Make sure to check your receipt. They charge whatever they want. I asked the guy when he charged me $15 for a double bacon... cheeseburger if it used to be easier when you added a patty to the single. He told me it was more. I found my receipt fromSeptember where I was charged $9.50 for a double cheeseburger. October it was $12. Bacon Cheeseburger $8.50. I make it a doublea month later now it's $15?! Good food, fast service and cool vibe. We liked the food, but it could be a little less fatty. The cozy outdoor space they have... is great, and the portion of the food is definitely good for one and even two people depending on how much you are hungry.Almost all of their sandwiches are delicious, and their prices are reasonable as well. Great place to get late night food. Sandwich combinations you won't find at other places. Sandwich names are from founders, and... people who won the food challenges. Even though the combinations are amazing, I still like to get things extra customized. Getthe philly fries, add chopped mozaralla sticks, add brown gravy, and if you're really feelin it, add fried egg. Read more
