Reviews for Eszett in Los Angeles, CA
Kindest owners and staff with an inventive menu. Vegan or not, you have to try the mushroom sandwich. Wings and shrimp toast are... always a hit. Their wine selection is incredible and well thought out! Read more
It's a really cute place and the interior is to die for! Food was good/ok but to me the prices were a bit over the top, a bottle... of wine and three small plates for $150. If I pay that price I really want something super delicious. And to me a$20-bottle Shouldn't be $68 at a restaurant. Service was great and everyone was really friendly and the menu is fun, but Idon't appreciate the 20% service fee and encouraged to tip even more. Read more

A new age and experimental American/French cuisine spot that has some interesting dishes that are fun to try out. The interior... is modern with a classic feel and they also have a heated outdoor covered seating. We started with some appetizers includingthe Big Fries and Chicken Wings. They have some bomb homemade hot sauces so definitely request that as well! The Big Fries havea good amount of their house salt that is crispy. It can be a bit overly salty in some areas, but still tasty. The Chicken Wingswere done well with a smoky and charred outside that was yummy. Good flavor overall. For the main dish, we tried the MushroomFrench Dip. Very flavorful and great play with the heartiness of the mushrooms and onion au jus dip. Great vegetarian dish! Fordessert, we got both their Basque Cheesecake and Persimmon Bread Pudding. The Basque Cheesecake was done well with some tastycherries cutting through the creaminess of it. The Persimmon Bread Pudding is winter/fall dish for sure. Heavy autumn aromaticsthat will bring you back to spooky/thankful season. Overall, a good restaurant to try out for some interesting dishes! This place was amazing especially the wings and shrimp toast. There cheesecake was delicious and so fluffy almost like a cake.
The best meal I’ve had in LA so far. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and unique. Do not skip the artichoke and grilled... broccolini! The charcoal grill just brings out their flavors in the best, smoky way. Charcoal wings with the spicy salsa machaare obviously a must order too!! Read more
Beware of the 20% additional service charge that the restaurant claims doesn’t count towards tip…. This is conveniently only... noted in person and not on the online version of the menu. I fully understand a slight living wage upcharge or even menu pricesincreases but if a customer essentially has to pay 40% on top of their bill just to ensure the waiter gets tipped properlythat’s actually insane…. Especially when this info isn’t listed anywhere until you’re seated at the restaurant Read more
