I undertook a pretty massive challenge today LOL I had to try the Dave?s number one and when I chose my ?heat?, I chose ?the... reaper? No seasons might not feel the reaper by Blue Öyster Cult song? But here?s a reaper you better be ready for! You haveto sign a waiver before you can even eat your food lol at first I thought it was a joke, but I was wrong lol Two chickentenders with two slices of bread normally they would be french fries, but I?m on a fairly strict diet so I only get to enjoyitems like this. Rarely. I changed my side to the side of kale slaw. Be sure to order an extra side of Dave?s sauce for thereaper! I ordered the regular size drink which is the largest and you can rest assure, I needed at least one refill! We?ve eaten at the one in Indio CA. Stopped in after our flight. This place did not disappoint! I got the slider cinco got them... both hot. Got the Extra Hot and Reaper last time. Very clean restaurant, friendly staff. It does get busy around lunchtime (makes sense) so expect a bit of a wait. I waited 15min... for my food which is still quick. The spice levels are accurate, but their chicken is SALTY! How is the chicken more salty thanthe fries? Definitely had me clutching my water bottle. Maybe tone down on the salt? I had zero expectations going into this place when a friend was in town and we wanted to check this out. It is so good! The... chicken is super juicy, the fries are super well seasoned with a old Bay kind of seasoning, and Dave?s sauce is similar toCane?s sauce. I got mild level of spice and it was perfect. I can't even begin to explain my obsession, addiction, and absolute love for the establishment. I've eaten here about six times... in the last two months or so and it's been a godsend everytime. I have heard great things about this place but avoided trying because of the notorious long lines in the downtown branch! I am... so glad they are finally opening another in west LA. The line in this branch isn't as bad! But you could tell there's a reasonwhy there are so many people coming here. The bathroom was also clean which is a plus for me! Now, the food, if I need a wordto describe it then it would be: ADDICTIVE! Dave's hot chicken is definitely in my top 3 list for chicken sandwiches! I asked for #3 (Sandwich with cheese and a tender) and they gave me a bunch of tenders even with the receipt attachedon the plastic bag, how's that for an error? So, the moral of the story here is, don't ever give them the benefit of the doubt,please double check to ensure you got what you ordered before leaving the restaurant.
