I was so confused earlier when I went to Google to Check the hours of the restaurant and seen those false negative reviews. This... place is right down the street from my apartment and the food is so yummy, the vibe so right, that my children BEGG me to comehere all the time! In my perfect reality, I drink the Golden Elixer Tea daily, it?s so Ire and delicious. I just feel so liftedand gifted, after this drink, it just makes me feel relaxed, peaceful and grateful and happy. My children LOVE it too. This theonly restaurant where I have been where I love everything that I have tried and can?t choose a favorite because everything is sobomb! This restaurant is a combination of my favorite things: delicious food, nature & beautiful kind people. I am so gratefulthat you all are here & wishing you continued success & miracles always! First, Let me start by saying ?WOW!!? This place is one of the best vegan places I've ever been to! It's incredible! I've been... here two times and I've gotten the shrimp and bbq platter, and they both were so delicious! I have no idea what they are makingthese meats out of but they are unbelievable! Since they are a small and short-staffed kitchen, wait times are a little long butthe food is absolutely worth the wait! The atmosphere is super relaxing and it makes the whole experience much better! I alsowould like to add that the reviews about mean and uninviting staff are completely untrue! Both times I've been, both cashiersgreeted me with the utmost kindness and apologized for any inconveniences! They even called me to say my food was ready! This place is spectacular, the food, the service is in my opinion what all businesses should aspire to. Mind you when we first... arrived we had to wait a bit, but that's because its on the smaller side and its not their fault and is to be expected,especially when there is delicious food involved. All of the people in the party loved and raved over the food, vegan andnon-vegan alike and the kids loved the service and all of the plants surrounding us, they kept making growling noises, andsaying "look I am a flower!" Let me start by saying-I?m not vegan. The chef here truly is a master!! I have vegan family members and have had vegan food... before. It?s pretty good. But this place is truly special. I could easily go vegan if I had this everyday-And I love meat! Themenu is so diverse and surprisingly affordable! The atmosphere is full of beautiful foliage and has great energy. This is agreat choice for a healthy dinner option that actually is satisfying. The service and staff (Romeo and Faith), went above andbeyond to make us welcome and tantalize our tastebuds, leaving us wanting more! I highly recommend their burger and juices. To start. I drove an hour and a half from DT La to this vegan spot because the reviews were SO good! I ordered ahead of time as... suggested and showed up not really knowing where the restaurant was but I saw plants and a tiny restaurant with about 15 peoplein line at 630p on Saturday. I informed the kind hostess I wanted a table and she said even though I ordered ahead I had to waitin line. So if you order ahead make sure you tell them you will dining in. She was sweet enough to put seats outside so I couldeat. Let?s just say that hour and half drive was SO worth it! I?ve never had vegan food taste so darn good! I felt like it was aspiritual experience. I absolutely loved all the plants and the care the chef took when cooking. Yes it was a wait but if youare in a hurry this place wasn?t made for you. I ordered the shrimp po bo and shrimp platter! It was SO good and the cornbreadwas to die for! The macaroni was a bit greasy but I loved the coconut flavor and the lobster was incredible! My friend who isnot vegan kept asking if the food was vegan because it was so close to the texture of seafood! He said he actually liked theshrimp better than regular shrimp! The cabbage!! Ohhhhh the cabbage!! Was sooooooo amazing!!!The peach cobbler was heavenly andI will definitely be making the drive again to hopefully try the lasagna! Just wow! What a wonderful vegan restaurant! Finally Compton has an amazing option ???????? . I went here with my nonvegan brother and mom... and they both loved it! Not pictured here is one of the best vegan burgers I ever tasted, the truffle burger which my brotherdeclared was one of the best burgers he has ever had in general. The seasoning and flavor was so amazing and I will definitelybe trying to replicate it at home, the fries were also amazing, just wish they were included with the burger and not as an addedside. The soul plate and BBQ plate was also amazing! Lots of delicious sides. If you are looking for an amazing plant-basedrestaurant definitely don't miss out! Read more
