Me and my boss visited this cafe most mornings whilst we were working a trade show at paramount studios a few years back! We... were staying at hotel Normandie a few streets away but use to walk a few streets up just to visit this cafe! It?s not touristyand is used mainly by the locals who may I add and not English speaking as it seemed a very Spanish speaking area! Horrible, you place orders and when you go pick them up they tell you they forgot. That happens very often, so don't be... surprised if you get there and they don't have it. Read more
Joe is amazing. Great customer service and just a very nice genuine man. He was very helpful and offered me a Central American... pastry that was delicious. I ended up getting the horchata con espresso and was not disappointed. Would go out of my way to comeback! Read more
We came from Burbank...with a high recommendation...for traditional Central American baked good. I can now confirm...this is... true plus more...pupusas and tamales were delicious. A definite ???? in the streets of Normandie. Read more
My main complain is the fact that in the middle of this Pandemic the Manager (I believe so, 40-50 yrs old Men, 6 ft tall with... glasses). Doesn't wear a mask, or when he does it he doesn't cover his nose. You can't? manage a place and touch food in thedaily basis without doing this. It's not sanitary. I asked him nicely one day if he can please? cover his nose with the maskwhen he was taking my bread order and he totally ignored me and then he asked me "Anything else, we have tamales" I asked himagain and he was "So That's it". The prices are high enough here to have to risk my health in top of that. Read more

This place is pretty decent if you?re looking for a good breakfast spot or sweet bread coffee spot on a Sunday afternoon after... church then this is the place to go I always look for Authentic central American food and it?s really really hard to come by butthis place really brings me home it reminds me of my grandmother and my mother?s cooking it brings me back to those times when Icould smell the coffee in the air and knew something delicious was coming Despite may be very Low-key but trust me the flavorsare there can?t wait till I go back the only reason I gave them four stars and not five Is because the food wasn?t too fresh butI did come in at 2 PM for breakfast so what can I really expect I will definitely be going back soon a little earlier Read more
Their fruit cakes are very good. It's not too sweet and a light taste . If you like fruit on your cake, come here early to get... the best cakes. They have regular sized cakes, and smaller cakes for like 3-4 people. Read more
