A French bistro -- all too rare these days in LA with the kitchen overseen by Executive Chef Sasca Lyon. The menu lists origins... of many of the fresh ingredients, perfectly prepared food is extraordinary. Straightforward and just unusual enough to makeyou want to order every item on the menu. One big plus free parking behind. The restaurant is open, casual, seating inside, at the spacious bar and outside. Our waiter;... Alvin, was attentive and friendly. Our drink; a negroni and a Manhattan were very good. Our dinner was great but a slightmistake had the owner(?) Manager quickly insisting to remove from our bill. All in all we highly recommend. We had a fantastic meal, all the dishes were solid. Showstopper was the chorizo and shrimp burger. A lot of the reviews I had... read recommended the "Call Me, Maybe", but it was a little sweet for my taste. We had a great bottle of red that carried therest of the meal nicely. We're spoiled in LA with a lot of restaurants at this caliber, so I'll have to hold back 5 stars foronly the most remarkable dining experiences. Read more
