Staff were friendly and attentive. Decor had more of a Chinese feel than a Japanese one. Food was a bit bland - sushi rolls were... mostly tasteless, the beef on the surf and turf roll could’ve been given some charring to add some extra flavor and color. inside of restaurant very nice and aesthetic. Good views from windows. Food however, could be improved. I bought the signature... oishi sushi rolls and was very disappointed. The cucumber was hard, the rice looks like it was cooked with too much water, andthe price was $19.88 for 8 pièces of sushi. I knew it would be expensive for the location being Hollywood but i thought itwould at least taste amazing too. I had high hopes for the for food but its just three stars. Every dish we ordered was fantastic. Spicy tuna rolls were delicious start. Chicken and Beef dishes were so tender and... flavorful. Finished with Tempura Ice Cream!! Read more
What I had eaten wasn't anything expectedly good. I was disappointed a bit with the dishes. Some just tasted pretty average.... Others lacked quality like the Tempura. First batch we got was crunchy but the next was soft and looked as if some time wasstill needed. Not to mention we did wait quite a while for our food. That is easy to brush off though. Read more
