Absolutely loved the service and the food! Walked in with not really a clue what to order but I love Caribbean food so I had... high hopes. I?ve never had Panamanian food so I was excited to see what I was missing out on. I had my dog with me, and after Iasked a question about how many pieces of chicken came on the chicken bowl (6 wingettes, very generous) I ordered and waitedoutside (they have an outdoor patio on Wilshire Blvd. so you can people watch). My food came out within 10 minutes and thelovely lady, she must?ve been the owner, came out to hand me my to go bag and she said hi to my pup. We chatted about our furbabies for a little bit, hers sounded sooo precious and my dog definitely liked her. I took my bag of food and walked home. Icould smell it the whole way home and was so happy when I opened the container the food was hot, and was not jostled around atall by my walk because the container was so packed!! The chicken was amazing, I got the mild and it still packed some heat!Just enough for me to enjoy the flavor of everything. The rice and peas were great, so full of flavor, and complimented by thecabbage served on the side. The plantains were the perfect combo after a bite of everything savory, it offset the spiceperfectly. 10/10, can?t wait to go back and try more from this place. I definitely have my eye on those oxtails. Read more

Flavorful. Friendly. Fashionable. CSKLA doesn't mess around. Their mild is delicious and is spicier than Tabasco. Their portions... are epic. Their jerk chicken and yucca fries are must haves! The staff is personable and knowledgeable. Everything from themusic to the tables bring about an aesthetic that takes you away from the rat race. It is a smaller location so large partiesshould probably get the food to go. Come in and grab yourself a Sorrel Hibiscus. You won't regret it! Read more

The best in L.A. The Panamanian-Caribbean food is awesome. Ordered a little bit of everything (photo below). I was wow-ed at... first bite. Friendly owners and love the new restaurant in the neighborhood. Enjoyed our takeout tonight and will be backsoon. Fresh, not frozen! The juices are so delicious too! Read more

Lots of oxtails in their meal. I was very surprised since most places give you about 3-4 pieces. The jerk Mac n cheese was also... on point, and the pineapple ginger was great. I have no complaints and my next time in LA, I will certainly stop by again. Read more

Quick tip, don?t ever leave this place without buying one of their drinks?ever. Pick any one them, they?re all BOMB. Outside of... that, my favorite dishes are the oxtails and their shrimp bowl. The oxtails are fall-off-the-bone tender?cooked perfectly andpacked with flavor. The shrimp are tender and juicy with a slightly sweet and spicy flavor. It?s unlike anything that I?ve everhad and of course, like everything else, completely delicious. The owners take so much pride in their food and service and itshines through during every visit. This is easily one of my favorite restaurants to visit in the LA area. Read more
