Everything I had was excellent. The scallops crudi come in a great sauce, a variety of colors, textures, and taste. Lamb chops... on a bed of hummus and arugula, nice sauce. Also nice combination of flavors and textures. Chops topped with a tapenade. Both1st and 2nd courses brought out almost at the same time. I would've preferred a bit more time. Read more

Lovely night out in LA. Excellent service and ambiance. Delicious food, but overall small portions, and amazing skyline views.... If you are in LA, make a reservation and try out this new rooftop restaurant. Read more

Cara Cara is a beautiful rooftop restaurant that match it's food and drinks perfectly. First off, the view is awesome! It's got... views all around the rooftop. Great for a sunset viewing. All the food and drinks were great. The Hangover Burger was juicy withnice flavor. The hanger steak was good but TINY. If you're hungry, make sure to get some appetizers. Can't wait to go back andenjoy the good food and great view again! Read more

Cute rooftop spot in downtown LA. Came here on a Friday evening and had a reservation for 6:30pm. Metered street parking.... There?s a 15 min grace period. You tell the doorman at the hotel entrance that you have a reservation and then they?ll hit theelevator button up for you. It?s also a cute spot just to grab drinks. Try to time your visit so you can see the sunset - it?ssuch a pretty sight. It?s shared plates and portions are on the smaller side, but four plates were still good for us two. Thepiri-piri fried chicken is a must-get. The crudo was also tasty but very light. The scallops were flavorful and came with asmall salad. The funghi flatbread was a larger dish and comes in four slices. Service was friendly and the vibes were trendy. It?s a great spot for date night. Read more

Very nice rooftop, really good food, good service, great views . I loved my foccacia with Portuguese chorizo, the burger was... good, my friend had the fish plate with arugula salad, and we split the boneless appetizer, delicious. Cocktails were very good, except the bloody Mary which was terrible. Read more

Rooftop restaurant on top of Proper Hotel DTLA. All seating outside except for the bar area. Had drinks at the bar first, good... service, good drinks. The food is very tasty, service is good. Found steak to be prepared well but quite small for the price. Augratin potatoes are very good. Fried chicken appetizer is a must have. View of the downtown skyline is amazing. Highlyrecommended. Really nice rooftop bar! Bro u want a view?! Probably also really great at night?the service is great I was asked by Dennis the... manager about the service. It?s clear they pay attention to folks when they come in. Walked into the hotel and was greeted bythe host who took names for immediate seating?and then walked us to the elevator?make sure take it to the Penthouse.(rooftopbar, duh) The bar has a really modern vibe and the food, steak frites were great! The fries were crispy and the sauce wasgood. Hotel guests utilizing the pool do walk thru from time to time which is a bit awkward but overall the vibe was good and Ialready mentioned the service. Only a suggestion: Maybe some additional instructions for guests to guide them upstairs to thepenthouse from the elevator. Next time I?ll try the shrimp tacos for dinner. They looked great on the way by. Read more

Beautiful sunset views for dinner. Celebrated a birthday and checked this place off my list. I loved the small cute pool side to... the right and the lower level open fire pit seating available for more drinking after dinner. They also had a small indoor bararea that was aesthetically pleasing as well while I waited for the others. Drinks were good, food was delicious. Definitelywould go back!! Read more
