Used to love it, however halal is not halal if you cook it in the grease and fat of unhalal food. The owner of course cleans the... grill. But the new white employee refused, saying he won't clean the grill, I told him that was a policy of the establishment helooked at me sideways and stayed quite until we left. I randomly stopped in to grab dinner, and it was delicious. I asked for the owners recommendation on what to order, and he... didn't steer me wrong. This was our 1st time here in a very long time and I was really disappointed I ordered the Hollywood pastrami and my mother got... the steak sandwich and the meat was overcooked the bread was kind of burnt and both sandwiches just didn't taste as fresh asif used to I didn't have a lot of lettuce or tomato didn't have a lot of meat we asked for more mayonnaise than mustard wedidn't get that either. I'll give it a pass this time because it was sort of late in the evening after 7pm almost 8pm and Ithink you close at like 9pm or 9 30pm. Read more
The food is good that's why it gets one star. The second star is because there is free parking. The place looks old and beat up.... The main reason for my rating is it's not safe to eat here. There is one person working doing everything. He touches the moneyand credit cards then he cooks your food without any gloves, without sanitizing, without washing his hands. I caught covideating here. I was half way through my food when I saw the money transactions and the food preparation. It is not worth it forthis to be your last meal.
