Reviews for CALI PHO NIA in Los Angeles, CA
I am sure it must be a good place but I didn't eat anything there because the broth they make for pho is made out of beef. I... don't consume beef. They seemed to be pretty fast for service for the communication is pretty bad. Read more
Feeling generous and giving this place three stars for at best, mediocre pho. Owners of this restaurant probably never ate a... decent bowl of pho in their life, so, they Google'd what they thought pho should be and made a menu around it. The soup wasalright, had just enough flavor. The big bowl and giant spoon was a bit ridiculous and gimmicky. Their men's restroom wasabsolutely disgusting. It had an awful smell and it was obvious they did absolute zero cleaning in there. Never coming back hereagain. Read more
Ok so I work in a restaurant and I understand sometimes you mess up the food, so you toss it. I understand. But you don't serve... it you toss it. I ordered shrimp fried rice, I've ordered this plenty of times before but this times they overcooked the shrimp. It was obvious how overcooked it was. Different cook at night and he just doesn't care. Or same cook and he just didn't care ordoesn't. The flavor it had before wasn't there at all. It didn't taste like anything. The soy sauce nor the siracha made itbetter. It's unfortunate too because one reason I liked ordering from this place was because of their spring rolls but I doubtI'll be back unless I'm desperate. Unfortunate. Read more
Simple Vietnamese menu with some Korean options as well. Great for price especially during weekday lunches where they have a... small discount. Convenient parking. Read more
Love the large spoon concept so you get all the fixings at once!! I enjoyed the noodles a lot. The rest of the food needs a... little work. Overall very good! Read more
Food is very good tasty very good place recomend people too go there
I have tried many different types of pho, I did not find this one to be all that great. The quantity of meat was very little and... not tasty at all compare to other places, but maybe here is the normal portion. They don't use basil in their soups, insteadcilantro. I will update my review if I try something different from their menu. I ordered through Uber Eats even though it tookaround 30 minutes to arrive, the broth was still hot. If you want the best broth, best presentation and best price, try PhoEastern on Huntington Dr. (Grubhub) Read more
If I could, I would give zero stars. I ordered my pho and there was literally 10 THIN SMALL pieces of meat. To charged $16 for... a bowl of basically rice noodles is outrageous. Also, when I asked for a spoon, the waitress wiped it with her hands beforehanding it to me. GROSS! Read more
