French restaurant with a fun bar attached. I recommend going to the bar for drinks - always full, good music and great vibes.... The restaurant is nice, mostly French dishes. We enjoyed the burger and the cheese plate. Oysters were very fresh. However theescargots and the mussels lacked flavor. For dessert, the crema brûlée is the way to go. Prices are high. Crazy overpriced for mediocre food. Nothing special at all. Drinks were very lame. Wait service and maitre’d both completely... flat and snooty and very unimpressive. Live music is the only positive thing I can say about it. I don’t know what people arethinking giving this a positive review. I was really shocked. I go to plenty of restaurants in Los Angeles and I’ve never seensuch average food for such high prices. Read more
Fantastic atmosphere/ambiance, live jazz music, very good food. Really a nice evening. Parking around the area WILL be tough, ... so give yourself time. In fact, if you can't walk, Uber. As with many restaurants post-covid, you'll probably need areservation as well. They have a decent amount of seating capacity, but it's good food with good atmosphere, so expect a bitof a crowd. Dinner tonight was my first time visiting here and I regret that I have not been here sooner. I had a really nice experience and... aside from a few hiccups it was a really good dinner with a great vibe. Just to start I really like the design, almost anoutdoor inside type of feeling. I especially like the lighting since it’s very low and resembles candlelight. The live jazzwas perhaps the true icing on the cake in terms of what made it an enjoyable setting. The music was not too loud that we couldnot hear each other talking but loud enough that it drowned out the tables around us. I will admit service was pretty slow atthe beginning and we had to wait awhile to get our check after we finished but I don’t blame the server at all she was verypolite and everyone we saw was working hard I just think they were short staffed tonight. I started off with the beet salad withblue cheese and it was very tasty. Very light and refreshing and was a great start. For my entree I chose the Dover Sole and itwas delicious; I finished every bit of it. Overall I would recommend to anyone, especially if you’re a fan of bistro styleFrench cuisine. I would say it’s a casual setting so it would be ideal for a date or a dinner with friends. Parking can be apain in the area however they do provide valet. It is a bit more expensive than some other bistros but they do have largeportion sizes and it is quality. Read more
Cafe Stella is such a cool place with an amazing vibe! The decor is super cool and the crowd is beautiful. I really loved Bar... Stella where they serve the best cocktails I have ever had. Thanks especially to Vini who treted us extraordinarily! Read more
I absolutely love this Café, I've been coming here consistently and I've tried various items on the menu and I've got to say... everything is of great quality and taste. My first time coming here I was served by Angel and all I can say is 10/10. I have tosay that I will ask for him every time I come in the hopes that he'll be my server everytime. Read more
This is by far one of the best places to eat. Their French onion soup is one of the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve travelled... the world). All of their food is the best and our server Paul was one of most engaging servers I’ve experienced - veryknowledgeable to match the greatness in taste. Extremely overpriced cocktails and wine with their newly increased prices. A glass of wine now costs $19-22! Cocktails start at... $20 (used to be $17 a short few months ago). Absolutely ridiculous!
