Reviews for Breadblok in Los Angeles, CA
Visiting from out of town and I can?t express how sad I am that I can?t visit this delicious bakery weekly (I see that they... ship, will have to try that). Everything is so amazing and by far the best gluten free bread I?ve ever had in the 8+ years thatI?ve been without gluten. I would love to do a cooking class with them to learn how they bake these complex gluten free pastriesto such perfection. The staff was very friendly and there was some great outdoor seating options. 10/10 Read more

We came here immediately from the airport it's that good. This Celiac safe restaurant is incredible, the croissants were the... best I've ever eaten and the sandwiches were so delicious. So grateful to have had this wonderful place to eat while travellingin LA and was a culinary highlight. Looking forward to eating here again! Read more
The textures and flavors of the breads are absolute perfection. Yes, it?s pricy, but the quality is top notch and I?m sure the... rent isn?t cheap :) I will be dreaming of future trips to the west coast to eat here again. Read more
This is such a cool find in our neighborhood. My wife and I discovered this accidently walking our dogs and now we love to grab... coffees and a snack here when we can! Our favorites are their pumpkin muffin (moist and crumbly), their ham and cheese croissant(my wife loves to put hot sauce on it), the eclairs, and almond milk lattes! They make their own nut milks and everything isorganic! We've also had brunch with friends and the space outside is amazing for a lovely start to your day. They are super niceand love our dogs. Lots of los angeles places look angrily at us when we bring our dogs, but not this place! The girl that worksthere even pets them when they come by looking for delicious crumbs on the floor! Everyone is really warm and catering to us. Iwish they had dinner, or a more wholesome menu to offer for after work. We would come at night, but the offerings are limited. But for a daytime Cafe, this place hits all the spots! An amazing hidden gem that i feel like is just our own little sweetdiscovery. Read more
I?ll save you the full read by saying, the aesthetic and price of this place does not match the quality. Sure it?s a beautiful... bougie place to look at with it?s open patio seating that gives off a Mediterranean or Arabesque vibe (much like it?s originallocation in Santa Monica). The inside beautifully lit by its floor to ceiling glazing which is nice and spacious. And the breadproducts all look like perfectly well made laid out on racks and in their display cases. I can only speak about what we had,but I can say I was greatly disappointed. And spending close to $40 for a latte, eclair, and an egg sandwich was by far the mostI?ve paid out here for anything of similarity and yet much less tasty. While my companion had a freshly made yogurt, a donut andbought a sourdough loaf to take home. One of the biggest qualms about gluten free breads is it?s consistency anddensity. First off the eclair was very decadent, the chocolate very good. The bread itself was a bit chewy but luckily therewasn?t a lot of it. The donut was much more dense and spongy, but had very tasty frosting. On it?s own without any, wasbland. The yogurt had some interesting things going on. Fermented blueberries! That was tangy and added a dope kick to thebase. But the yogurt itself was very fluid it was like soupy. It might as well have been a drinkable probiotic shake. Thebreakfast Sammie! Oh how I love breakfast sammies. This one looked really good on paper. And I can say the bread used for it wasnicely toasted and slathered with some chipotle mayo. The eggs looked seasoned which is GOOD! I always lament that no oneseasons eggs. BUUUUT the bacon. I love bacon. But this bacon was so greasy that the cooked grease taste overpowered the ENTIREsandwich! What seemed like a well made tasty sandwich turned out to be just a poorly put together one. SAD. FINALLY we triedthe loaf just to see how this matched up to everything else. After all, this is what they?re known for. Chewy, dense, and Read more
