First time trying this place and I can honestly say the sandwiches and drinks are delicious. It is a bit expensive (We got 3... sandwiches and 2 drinks for $65) but the flavors are really on point. We ordered the Bodega Chopped Cheese (my favorite itemordered) and it was filled with gooey cheese and well seasoned meat in a good sized portion. I would go back there specificallyfor that sandwich. We also tried the Turkey Avocado and it was refreshing, light, and full of flavor. They included a goodamount of avocado with it too, which is always a way to make me happy. For drinks we tried the Bodega Vanilla Latte and the YujaSparkling Iced Tea and we enjoyed both and were sad when they were finished. Even though it?s more expensive than should be theflavors are wonderful and I definitely plan to be back soon to try some of the other items. Chopped Cheese / chopped beef patty, american cheese, grilled onion, jalapeño, lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mayo, on a hero roll -... 5 ????! Match green tea iced latte - 5 ????! Restaurantsike Bodega Park are the reason why Silverlake is a great place to findsomething excellent to eat. I immediately was interested in their chopped cheese sandwich. Their version is full of flavor andsuper tasty. It has a panini style approach to the sandwich. The hint of jalapeno is noticeable but well balanced so it doesn'toverwhelm the other tastes. Their matcha green tea is refreshing and not that sweet, which is my personal preference. It was agreat accompaniment to the sandwich. This is a newish Cafe on sunset over Silver Lake Blvd. I think it replaced a different sandwich shop. It's next to where... Floyd's barber shop used to be. Lotta good options for both breakfast and lunch. I got their Italian sub which was like thatsort of sandwich as imagine by a silver lake hipster. They also have an espresso machine and some heavy, heavy tea options ididn't even know what to do with. Will go back to try the breakfast options and see about the tea situation. Yuuum, delicious. I never had a chopped cheese and although it would be simple to say it's a hamburger on a toasty roll, there... must be an art to it because I would choose this over an in n out anytime (except if it's 11 at night and I only have 5 andchange). There are bits of jalapenos to give it a small kick and the whole thing is moist and tasty. We also got the turkeyavocado and it's solid. Not great but it won't disappoint. It is what it is. Also, I thought the waffle fries had the rightamount of crispy and potato. Parking is the only drawback. Read more
