The desserts were not great. For a place that specializes in nothing but desserts, you would expect the desserts to be out of... this world. Also, the pieces were not large enough to justify the price. Like $15 or so per dessert. My dessert (key lime pie)was too sour and not sweet enough. My bfs carrot cake was old and stale tasting. His champagne drink was a bit flat. My oldfashion was too strong. I would not recommend. Great concept but the delivery needs work. Menu is actually pretty limited.Lastly, our orders took a long time despite it being a small menu and the most if not all desserts not being made to order. Allit takes is cutting and plating. Fun place to enjoy some drinks and desserts with your significant other. It set the mood for the night. We will definitely come... back to try more drinks and give y’all more feed back. Great place. Great service. Great desserts. The server and his trainee introduced each dish in a sultry and salacious manner... that was hilarious like their menu descriptions. This is the Los Angeles branch - 1st time here but we discovered the Key West,Florida original circa 2016. Even better because we live in California and makes it easier to visit while in Los Angeles. Ambience was very nice. Lighting was a bit too dim, in my opinion. Our server, William I believe, was very friendly and very... helpful with navigsting the menu. Desserts were delicious, as well as their cocktails. First picture below is my dessert, theMissionary Crisp. Second one is my brother's order, the Double Stuffed. Reservation experience: Walk in for a take out. We ordered key lime pie, went back after 15-20 minutes after waiting and they... said there’s no such order in the kitchen. They went again to actually place the order. The entire order to delivery time wasnorth of 30 minutes. Very few desserts are worth that much wait but I do understand that it could be a one timething. Ambience: In keeping with the theme, the place is red, dark, with suggestive images all over. Makes for an interestingand bold setting. Food: The key lime pie was good. It had a nice thick crust, melted white chocolate with what looked like wassprinklings of key lime jelly. It was a good slice, yes- with a sharp taste of lime! Is the best one you’ve had? Not really. My first time there we had so much fun sampling the different desserts. All the desserts that we tried were big enough to share... between all four of us. Definitely a place to take someone special to make an impression or to do something different for aspecial occasion. This place was designed get you in the mood for the dessert AFTER the dessert.
