Berry Bowl is my not-so-guilty pleasure. I come here often for acai bowls. They have different flavors of mixed acai (classic,... tropical, peanut butter) as well as pitaya, mango, and coconut. The bases are smooth with an ice-cream like consistency. Pitayais a little icier but still very good and smooth. Toppings are included in the price and you can pretty much add as many itemsas you want (they have put a new limitation only on butters-- now you have to choose between Nutella, peanut butter, and almondbutter lol). But everything else is fair game!! They have a lot of variety. I usually like adding chia pudding, all the fruits(strawberries, blueberries, bananas), honey, almond butter (peanut is also good ..), almonds, toasted coconut (they also havenon-toasted), goji berries, flax seed, pumpkin seeds, and there's more!! They have 4 different sizes available, for any amountyou are craving. Personally I think "small" gives best base to topping ratio, but they come in mini too. The place also makesdelicious smoothies. I love the green smoothie! Bowls are not cheap but comparable to most places, and given that they let youput as many toppings as you want, I think they are reasonably priced. Will keep coming back. Super bad customer service!!! They've been promoting an acai bowl on their website for couple of months now.. and every time I... go there , there excuse is we don't have the ingredients. The smoothies are always really tasty and refreshing, my personal favorite is the acai berry smoothie and the almond butter... supreme for something that is more filling. This place is a bit more expensive than other spots in the city, I made the mistakeof getting two immune boost shots (I don't think they had prices on them) that ended up being $5 each, which seems a bitexcessive. Service is great! The only think I wasn't happy is that I couldn't try the CBD infusion poured on coffe or whatever is named and... it's not coming back ???? juices are great and the different acai bowls are amazing, thank you for been in the neighborhood ? Read more
Great Açaí spot on York Blvd that has so many different ways you can customize you açaí bowl or smoothie. First things... first, you can get different themed blended açaí bases before you even decide to start topping it. I prefer the tropicalaçaí base (açaí, pineapple, mango, coconut water, and strawberries) Since my base is a little acidic I like to balance thatout with my topping choices. I like to put hemp granola, banana, blueberries, almond butter, honey, and bee pollen on top. It?s the perfect mix of flavor for me and I have no doubt that anyone can find theirs. **PRO TIP: if you feel you need moretoppings after you?ve already started eating your bowl, you can always bring it back and the staff will be happy to add more toit whether it?s more granola or more banana etc. don?t hesitate to ask! I really like this place. All the food I?ve tried is fresh and flavorful. Wish they had some umbrellas or shade sails for the... tables outside but it could be a city ordinance keeping them from doing that. Also of note they do have a B rating as of thelast time I was there on 6/12/18 but the place looks very clean to me! Read more
2022 update. Upgrading to 5 stars. I've been about a dozen times and it's consistently good, *fast*, and prices have stayed... reasonable. I like that you can choose all your own toppings. I've been twice and had peanut butter bowl both times. Noproblems ordering, bowls ready in about 5 min, and they look and taste great! Backyard Bowls is the best acai bowl place I'vebeen to, but Berry Bowl takes second and the HP location is great. Beats the bowls from other juice places like Nektar orJamba. They also sell all sorts of snacks and herbal supplements in this shop. Reishi extract, ashwaganda powder, that kind ofstuff. Read more
