Been here twice and will be coming a lot more. First time around, I got a pork banh mi to take to the park and it was great.... This time around I got the braised pork belly with egg and a Vietnamese iced coffee which was a delicious pick me up. It camewith pickled veggies and chili sauce. Very flavorful and filling! Amazing little spot. Staff is welcoming upon arrival. Menu is easy to read. We got most of the classics and some new ones like... the Bahn mi and Rau Ma ( blended leaf drink ). Okay, this place is such a gem. I saw it on tv and had no idea it was in silver lake. Went to try it (it?s a walk up and order... to take away situation) and brought it home to eat. Some of the best spring rolls I have EVER had. The cucumber salad wasabsolutely incredible and the Banh Mi was perfect. All vegan, all so so tasty, staff is friendly and the food comes quickly. Yum rice noodle salad w tender tasty beef dressed perfectly, popcorn fried chicken was... cooked well ,very tasty and crunchy ,the aioli was too thick for me but tasty Quick,clean,yum food ! Their... food is super fresh, served to-go in sustainable packaging, and they recycle and compost! Not to mention the food is amazing.Super fresh and healthy with many protein options. The BEST Vietnamese Iced Coffee in town, as far as I?m concerned. Tasted exactly the way we used to make it at home, and had... that perfect amber-like color that it should be. For food, I tried the summer rolls with tofu, and was delighted. The peanutsauce was perfect, but I did think the inclusion of pineapple was a little interesting.
