I'm gonna try and be as detailed as possible, Because I feel like any rating 2 stars below should be Justified and explained...... Here, you can encounter some of the best (typical market cafeteria style) Filipino food you can find in L.A. The downside: staffinteraction with customers is contentious at best. I'm the easiest customer and I don't even care if I'm treated rudely solong as the food is fresh and delicious, but on a consistent basis while shopping here I find myself audience to over-the-toprudeness, Sarcasm that nobody finds amusing, and just plain meanness, directed at a variety of different customers, but feelslike a real slap in the chest when you see a nice old lady get berated by staff because she asked maybe one too many questionsand maybe moved just a little too slowly for their liking ( ...It's not even that busy???) The example above is fairlyspecific, but I have noticed this type of bullying behavior more than once by various staff members from different departmentsCome and for me that's worse than plain old rudeness.. I did not eat here. However, my wife did and she said that her food was good. The store seemed well stocked. It was a bit... untidy. They stored cleaning supplies like buffers, mop buckets and other things in the dining area. For some reason it tookforever for my wife to get her food. Not sure why. As my wife stood in line to order, my daughter and I, went to a differentplace got food, came back and were half way through our meal before my wife came up with just a few very small containers offood. The cashier doesn't apply the discount price on the food. Towards the end of the day there are discounted hot food stuff, not... on all of the food but the kitchen staff would put that it's either 50% off. And at the till when the cashier was processing myselection, she just charged me full price. Which is unfortunate. Read more

The short hair female cashier isn't very friendly and her customer service manners sucks. I like the people at the cooked food... area who's always smiling, friendly and go out of their way to help customers. Wrong label for the food that I bought, says bukopanda but what's inside is macaroni salad. Read more
