This place is awesome, the decor is very cool.. The bar in the lobby is really nice, bartender there was nice and knowledgeable... about their beer. They play international/independent movies, that's a plus on this place! The whole dining movie experiencehere is awesome. Movie rooms had really comfy seat and the service was fast and everything was delicious, we had a hamburgerwith fries and nachos. The drinks were delicious too I found a new favorite spot! Well, I found the perfect... place ALAMO at the Bloc Fun, fun, fun, movies, drinks, food and free video games! Food and drinks catered to you while watchingthe movie. What can be better than that. This was such a fun experience and the staff was friendly and on point with their service. I will definitely be going here more... and enjoying all the deals and movies too. This was by far the worst movie experience I have ever had. RUINED OUR DATE Night. And Honestly I would like a refund. Hipster... Therater that lives up to Be One of LA's worst Theaters. Horrible User Experience. From Parking to Closing Out this is never aPlace I will tell my friends about. Having to write a note in the dark articulating how their staff gave me multiple incorrect items during my movie was a tragedy. Would anyone volunteer the task of navigating getting an order or a check correctedduring a movie premiere in the Dark? Having things you didn't order appear. Then disappear. Getting a note of violation forusing your phone as a very ultra dim light (my phone is on Monochrome emitting almost no light) because you were signing a checkor perhaps because I laughed while watching the movie. Layout of theater was horrendous when thinking of basic needs. There isone hall of restrooms. At the end so if you drink anything while watching a movie you'll have to walk a mile to get to theirbathroom area. Will update review later. First time going (4-4-2022) to watch The Batman and it was such a great experience. To have servers serve food to us while... watching the movie was great. Thank you all for such a great time. I'm sure we'll be back again soon Read more
I just absolutely adore this theater. I really missed going to the movies since the pandemic started and last year we went to a... giant AMC theater to see Candyman and I just about had a panic attack the whole time because they weren?t checking vaccine cardsand the theater was packed with people not wearing masks and it was a nightmare. Alamo is the literal opposite. They checkvaccine records, theaters are small, and they have a lot of reminders about masks. The food is good and it?s just really nice tohave movie date nights again, I really missed those! Also I love the bathrooms that are the most clearly marked (the stalls areall single occupancy rooms with doors that go all the way to the ground!) and yet, the amount of people who are just absolutelybaffled about the concept kinda cracked me up. I absolutes love everything about Alamo Drafthouse. From the moment you walk in, the old school movie memorabilia intertwined... with the current movies playing is my favorite way to start the experience. The seats are comfy. The food is pretty darn goodand the drinks are tasty. You have to try a movie here at least once. Then you'll be hooked. Read more
I said I wouldn?t review this theater until I have been there 10 times! Well I have and here is my honest review. I love this... theater. The staff is super friendly and the restrooms stay clean. The food is great now that I have my menu favorites. Thedecor is awesome. They need to work on their rewards program. Not sure if it?s actually working, I have never received a rewardyet. But overall this is my go to theatre. Read more
