My family has been coming here for easily twenty years and it?s one of the very few restaurants left that you can honestly say... hasn?t changed one bit in quality or service. We love the portions, the healthy choices. They have the highest quality meat andchicken that?s seriously so delicious too. Nowadays it?s either going to be one or the other, but here you?re lucky enough tofind both. There has always been something so special for us about Alwazir and it?s not just the food, it?s the welcomingatmosphere. The gal at the front is always sweet and lovely to everyone. They all go above and beyond to see that you?recomfortable and enjoying your meal, it?s like we?re all sharing in the importance of a great visit. Again something we don?tfind at a lot other places. There are a ton of Mediterranean spots around, but none like this one. Alwazir will forever have ourhearts and my family?s business. Any parties we?ve had they have also come through for us in spades. My daughters 21st birthdaywas a big hit due to the food we had catered in by them. Extremely racist owner. My husband and I stopped here for lunch. When we entered the owner stopped eating to serve us, and was... very polite. However, she quickly became aggressive because my husband needed to use the bathroom and I sat down. Sorry but Ialways wait for my husband and we order together. She told me he could not use the bathroom unless we were customers. Clearly wecame inside and sat down to eat. But like a racists, she tells me that people use drugs in the bathroom. WE CAME TO EAT not dodrugs. After offending me there is no food in her store I would trust to eat. So I left as she continued yelling at us. Longstory but just don't go here if you are Black. Well at least don't sit before paying. Horrible experience. And will never goback. Read more

Excellent quick take out in Hollywood. Their falafel and hummus rivals any New York joint and their baklava is incredible. All... around great place for comfort food with generous portions. I got chicken kabab platter without the rice, so got an extra hummus. It was very tender and juicy. My husband started eating my... chicken too lol. The reason why it?s a four star is because the chicken was hard to get off the skewer. I would?ve appreciatedif the chef removed the chicken with tongs and then placed it in the box but that?s okay.
