My order was swapped with another which was also incorrectly made resulting in the worst sandwich I've ever had to pay for.... Staff seemed friendly and has a good base of regulars so I chalk my poor experience to just bad luck but won't be coming back.Menu looks great for their cold cut sandwiches but I would definitely avoid the weekly specials (they're all microwaved). Great deli! Very fresh bread, meats, and produce. Oven roasted turkey is to die for. I recommend adding cranberry sauce (they... have it) to the sandwich. Good selection of drinks, beer, and chips. A+ Read more
A great place for a sandwich! My favorite is God Father II, the spicy version of the original God Father. The service is always... quick. Try to avoid time when Los Altos High has a lunch break because the place may get really busy. Read more
I would walk to this local sandwich shop for lunch. Cute deli ambiance and brings character to downtown Los Altos. Great... Sandwich suggestions, but also able to order what ever sandwich you like. The coleslaw and macaroni salad are homemade and it isamazing. A little on the higher price for a sandwich, but you are supporting local business and keeping this great little spotopen, so its worth it! Read more
Read the good reviews and decided to give this a try. Ordered the the meatball sandwich on Dutch crunch roll. Unfortunately,... they microwaved the sandwich, I guess to heat up the meatballs. Well, the Dutch crunch was not crunchy anymore, instead wassoft and chewy, totally destroyed the texture and flavors. Very disappointed! Read more
Ordered the chicken salad sandwich, the giant pickle, and the macaroni salad. I thought all were delicious. I got the toasted... bread with the crunch top. I ordered delivery so I further toasted it in the over (400 degrees for 10 more minutes) and it wasdelicious! I like the extra crunch. Read more
The people were very friendly and were trying to be helpful, but it felt like about half the menu was unavailable for one reason... or another. The sandwiches were just okay. Not terrible. Not even bad....just okay. Which seems like a low bar for a placeselling t-shirts hyping one of those sandwiches. I didn't hate it, but considering how many options there are in Los Altos"Okay" was a disappointment. Also: this is very much a sandwich shop, not a real deli.
