Excellent food (loved the coq au vin) but we found the the main waiter assigned to us a little annoying and really... accommodating. On several occasions, the waiter just showed up at the table, popped his head in our conversation, awkwardlywaiting for some acknowledgement from us as we did not need any help. A bit weird and uncomfortable. When we saw on the menuthat the coq au vin needed 30 minutes to prepare, we gently asked the waiter if he could record several orders of coq au vinbefore we were done deciding on the rest of the orders. The waiter reacted really defensively to this request that we found tobe an overreaction. Quite strange. Maybe a little more training would be granted. Read more

Every item including cocktails, appetizer, entree's and dessert was good. Pork chops were excellent. One suggestion to add lamb... chops (I am usually not a big fan of pork chops and ordered bec there was no lamb, only chicken on the menu). Service wasexcellent, as the owner recognized and greeted us as we drove from Dublin to meet our friends who are regulars here. Read more

Awesome food, lovely atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor tables. We were indoors and it was a bit loud, but I am generally a more... quiet than average person, so I might be extra sensitive to noise. I loved everything I tried - garlic shrimp appetizer, fish ofthe day, and ASA Shirley Temple. I will come back for sure! The place does get busy, so I recommend making a reservation inadvance. We got to try (almost) the whole menu. Every single item on it is just delicious. The cuisine is a mix between American and... Spanish tapas, ideal to share. Owner is such a friendly and nice person, great place to have an informal dinner. Read more

Oh dear… I really had high hopes for this place but sadly it was a huge disappointment. Let’s start off with the trout dish... we ordered. The trout was very oily and over cooked. The skin was so crisp that it just fell off. The veg and potatoes weredecent. The duck sliders were completely inedible. The duck tasted like it was about to turn. It taste like turning chicken. Wethrew the whole thing away. We also ordered the pork chop dish and thankfully the meat was cooked but under-seasoned and the augratin was undercooked. Our cesar salad was ok. I appreciated the crispness of the lettuce but that dressing was not a Cesardressing. It was brown and runny. Not good at all. Our chocolate chip cookies were borderline burnt and we didn’t get ourgelato with them. The pana cotta was so bad. It was so bland! The cookies crumbles tasted old and smelled old. I would notrecommend eating here. We spent 160$ on this meal and we were are so upset! Do not waste your money folks! Read more

The design of ASA is inviting and the food is great. Highly recommend the garlic shrimp as an appetizer. They were perfectly... cooked, but are also very heavy on the garlic side. It balances out well with the table bread. I went with the pasta of the dayfor the entree, which was a crab spaghetti. The sauce was rich and the crab was very flavorful. To finish, we shared the dessertoptions with the table. The molten chocolate cake is a must and the cookies have a great texture. You can bring your own wine orchoose from their selection of beer and wine. Service was friendly and professional; we will definitely be returning! Read more

I had an elegant, satisfying and delicious meal complimented by outstanding service at the Los Altos Asa. They have a healthy... variety of outdoor heaters, so outside dining is most comfortable. Food is outstanding. Read more

Good service. Nice vibe. Our server was extremely friendly and humorous. Terrible food. Ordered medium steak but got a well done... one. Plus all the food was way too salty to eat. Perhaps I was just unlucky that the chef sprayed too much salt on my food topoison me. Definitely won’t visit again. Read more
