What a great time! My husband and I were greeted and seated right away. Jenna was our server and was a blast for our first time... visit! We had some cocktails and picked a variety of appetizers for our lunch. Calamari, wings, poppers and firecracker shrimp. All was great, would skip the calamari next time. The atmosphere was awesome and outdoor seating was inviting! Read more

The view was amazing! Michelle helped me pull together a small 12 person reception following a wedding. They were very... accomodating. The food was good but a bit overdone on the almond crusted walleye..a bit too crunchy for me. The prices werevery reasonable a made for a great location to create a memory. Read more

Where do I even start... The atmosphere is beautiful, the staff is extremely friendly, the menu has a wide variety of seafood,... they have non-seafood options that rival the main dishes easily, the food is made to order and nothing is frozen, the drinks arelocal and not the usual coke/pepsi, the food takes maybe 20 minutes tops each time which is super quick for fresh meals, etc.I've been here 3 times since moving to the area less than 2 months ago and let's just say I plan on going more often than that.I personally don't like seafood but their sirloin tip alfredo is good enough to order EVERY SINGLE TIME. And I'm a chef wholoves trying new things. I can not get my mind off of that meal, it's heavenly. Boiler room is a 10/10 in every way. I promiseif you go there you will not be disappointed, it's impossible. My experiences there have been overwhelmingly positive. Thesirloin tip alfredo is to die for, seriously. Just make sure your hungry ???? My girl who loves seafood vouches for the seafoodwholly btw, no matter what you get it'll be amazing. Read more

Our server was the best, Matt. We were a table of 14 the day before Mother's Day, they were very busy! We were celebrating my... birthday, he was gracious, helpful and knowledgeable. I cannot tell you what everyone had but can say everyone enjoyed. I hadthe mussels appetizer and a side salad, I shared a good portion of the mussels, no skimping there! Read more

The craft beers here are AWESOME! Most craft beers have an aura of unnecessarily sophisticated vibes about them but not these... ones. The prices and service is second to none. Plus,The ambiance/atmosphere of the place will chill you to the core with justhow natural it feels. Its like stepping back into time with the feel. I come here as often as I can. Give these guys a chanceand you will not regret it! Read more

Breakfast, lunch, or dinner doesn't matter. Any time of day is perfect for a visit to this place. Live music and out door... seating with a view of the black river landings. Drinks are great with a good assortment of draft beers with a few seasonalrotating drink selections. Great place to eat or socialize. Read more

My husband, my family, and I had dinner at this establishment for the first and last time in early September (yes, this review... is long overdue). The grilled peach salad I had came with peaches that were not grilled and not fresh?as you can see in thephoto, they were from a can. It was as though they took one peach slice from a can, finely sliced it into paper thin pieces, andused a smoker as a failed attempt to give them a ?grilled? taste. Supposing they were unable to source fresh peaches at thetime, they should have taken this dish off the menu or informed me that it was unavailable for that evening. The vegetabletoppings were fresh but very sparse. I had more pistachios than anything. The brussel sprouts I ordered were overcooked to thepoint of tastelessness and so saturated in oil that grease gushed out when you began to chew. And for the price of each dish, Icould have purchased at least a dozen fresh peaches and several pounds of fresh brussel sprouts. We got soft pretzels as anappetizer, which were overcooked (tough and dry) and clearly came from a frozen ?Super Pretzel? box we could have boughtourselves at the grocery store. The outdoor picnic tables were extremely uncomfortable; ours was situated right by a speaker, and when we kindly asked our waiter if the music could be turned down or if we could be seated elsewhere, he said he?d ?lookinto it? but never actually did anything (even after bringing it to his attention a second time). Some employees wereconsistently wearing a mask, while others (including our waiter) sometimes wore one and sometimes had it pulled down below theirchin or nose. After this experience, I would not recommend dining here, and I do not plan on returning. Read more
