I remember as a kid coming here with my parents and younger brother, and going now and then with my now x wife. Food used to be... great and now for some reason has gone downhill. Food amazing! I love it! But there's like a layer of grime & it needs cleaned! This place is awful. Was there today 5/22. Stood at the counter waiting for 10 minutes, nobody took my order. 2 girls behind... the counter were rude and ignored us. No other customers in restaurant, only 1 at drive thru. Your service sucks as does yorhired help. I will never spend mt money there again. Read more
The food here USED to be very good and reasonably priced, but not these days!! I used a napkin to soak oil out of my chicken,... fries, and hush puppies and the napkin was saturated in oil by the time I was done. And that was from only ONE piece of chicken,a few fries, and one hush puppy. I couldn't stomach the rest of it. Instant artery clogging!! The prices increased in the pastyear also. The meals used to be around $7 and now they're over $9. I ordered 2 meals and it was over $25. I ordered 2 smalldrinks with it. I'll pay that and go to Red Lobster instead and get a good quality meal for my money, instead of oil-loggednastiness. I LOVE their hush puppies though, but I can make my own at home if I wanted them that bad, I guess. The manager, whowas in back making the food, was clueless as to what was going on. The girl running the register and drive thru was VERY polite,helpful, and had to tell the manager that the orders she was making had already been made and the people are long gone and sherattled off 5 order numbers that she still needed. I think she deserves a raise and promotion to manager and the manager demotedto mopping floors, which need it BADLY!! My FIRST step into the restaurant was onto a sticky, black mat and the floors were alsoVERY sticky. This is basic cleaning for a restaurant, and if that's what the front of the restaurant looks and feels like, thenI shudder to think what the back and food prep areas look like! I won't be back for a VERY long time, if ever again. I gave 3stars ONLY because of the nice young lady working the register and drive thru and knew more about what was going on than themanager. Their bowls are great! I've had the salmon and shrimp southwest bowls. Both were very tasty. Good portion for the price. I... stopped going to LJS a while back because the food was just too greasy. But I'm going back for the bowls. Only problem I've hadis the wait. Read more
It cost $14 for lunch I can go to Texas Roadhouse and get a steak for that money
