Me and my boyfriend just ate here and man we are STUFFED! We had the boneless wings appetizer and they were so good and you... really do get a pound of wings that nearly filled me up my boyfriend got the chicken fried steak dinner and it was so good andtender I had the catfish dinner and man that was the best catfish I?ve had in a long time falls apart right in your mouth! We were seated without silverware. Was given rolls and butter and could not catch the waitress fast enough before she ran off.... Took about 30mins to place our order. Then another 40min to get our food. My sister ordered a certain side and she was told theywere out, but another couple came in after us and received their food and they were given the side she ordered. Finally got ourfood and mine was sooooo salty I couldnt even eat it. Wait staff is impossible to get. Don't waste your time or money. Read more

I have been ordering Fried Chicken Carryout from Tanners for years but no longer. The chickens pieces are smaller than ever,... got three wings and only one thigh, and the rolls were stale. To add insult to injury, they now charge a premium if you paywith a credit card. I never had a restaurant do that. Read more

I have eaten here several times and always enjoyed it. Tonight I was disappointed with my coconut shrimp. It was over cooked and... had no coconut flavor. It was ok if had been described as just fried shrimp. The rolls and baked potato was awesome as usual.Everyone else enjoyed their meal to. I'll still go back but won't try their shrimp. Read more

Stopped in with a party of five for lunch on a Tuesday. We had a great lunch. The service could not have been better. We all... got our order on time and correctly. The catfish was really great, the sandwiches were more than satisfying and the cod wasgood except two small pieces compared to the catfish. Love the hush puppies that came with the fish. Next time we get an extraorder. The bathrooms were very clean and well supplied (a tell about what goes on in a restaurant). The food prices were onspot for a sit down restaurant. My wife and I ordered the crab cakes last night, We were served bread crumb cakes. The crab cakes used to be excellent at... Tanner's. What happened? Didn't smell or taste like crab. The side dishes were good as usual and the service was excellent. Twomonths ago 3 out of the 4 dinners served to our table were so salty we could not finish the dinners and all three were different items. May be a while before we go back. Read more

We ordered take out this evening a 4pc catfish dinner a chicken fried steak dinner and a kids chicken tender meal. As well as... cheese curds. When we got home we were missing 1 loaded baked potato and 1 side of fried okra. The food was 2 stars at bestand that is because it was edible. Neither of us finished our meal although not for lack of hunger. We gave 1 star because wedid not get all that we ordered. Service was good for take out the food was just lacking in entirety.
