This was my first time ordering from Wako Tacos. The restaurant inside has a dope vibe, but the food is very bland. This is... suppose to be a Mexican restaurant, but it's not authentic. It's more American - Mexican. For example: the tacos had lettucewhen a real authentic would have cilantro. Also the meat was very bland - meaning no flavor & the chicken was dry. I would give zero stars if I could. Ordered two tacos for myself and chimichangas for the family. Nothing here was fresh at all,... everything was cold, including my chicken taco and my friend's. My kids picked at their food and within an hour, werecomplaining of stomach aches. The chicken was obviously cheap frozen chicken that they had only partly heated up. A few bitesand you could tell, part of it was still cold and some parts were warm-ish. Nothing was fresh: it seemed like they got theguacamole from a premade can, it was so disgusting. Horrible experience, will never return. We let the guy behind the counterknow my friend's chicken taco was stone cold and he started to argue with her. I honestly think they should refund us. The worst customer experience I ever experienced as a first time customer, makes you not even wanna eat their food, I threw it... away once they handed it to me and walked out. Gave me undercooked ground beef after, offending and half put together tacos, Ifeel like they only make your food nice if they want to very Non-genuine the ground beef tasted and looked like dog food. We had a Taco Salad and a Burrito. The ingredients are fresh, they are prepared in front of you, and the portions are decent. ... This makes for a very tasty experience. Make sure you get some of their sweet sauce too. As a bonus, Wako Taco adjoins theHourglass Brewery, so your order is brought to your table while you are sipping some suds. Sweet! Read more
