Five star experience at Austin?s! With the over-saturation of chain restaurants in the area, I?m excited to see somewhere new... that is family owned and operated. And the food is delicious! All homemade and prepared fresh... and there?s a bakery!!! I couldwrite an entire review just about the pie. So good! As we were eating, we were greeted by the owner, who welcomed us likefamily. Our server was happy and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. And you can?t beat the price at $30 for anall-you-can-eat dinner for 2. We?ll be back! Dying to check out Italian night! Delicious! The food was fresh, tasty and well seasoned. Salad bar had a wide selection of seasonal fruit and vegetables. ... Fried chicken and fish were amazing. Desserts are homemade (peach cobbler and pecan pie were very good). The staff wasdelightful. Seriously, they were so nice and friendly. Today I had my first of what will be many meals at Austin's. I can only say incredible!!! I went on a Friday and found fish... selections as well as an unbelievably large amount of well prepared, home style foods. There are soups, salads, entrees,breads, and deserts that are all so good. Their kitchen is behind glass making it available for customer scrutiny, and it isspotless. My only challenge was to save room for their fresh, delicious deserts. My only surprise is to see a couple oflengthy, detailed negative reviews that seem to be written in the same style. As a retired High School teacher, I am suspiciousthat someone has brought forth a bad part of their adolescent vitriol because of an ax to grind against a wonderful familyrestaurant for no good reason. Went here with my family. The food was great. The service was exceptional. The restaurant was well organized and clean. My... son loved the mac-n-cheese and the fried fish. My daughter, who is a picky eater, found things she enjoyed including chickenstrips, turkey, carrots, and french-fries. I tried a little bit of everything and thought it was all great. I especiallyliked the carved turkey and dressing. If you like buffet style American food, I definitely recommend going here. There is awide variety of deserts that are excellent too, so make sure to leave some room for that! Read more
