Tonight was a treat. I?ve traveled to a few states and always try to visit local restaurants. This week, Roland Wine in... Longview, Washington. A jazz band playing a mix of Christmas and mainstream music plus a simple menu selection equals a qualityexperience. The focaccia bread with mozzarella melted inside and an olive oil/balsamic vinegar to drizzle was a meal by itself. Couple this with Foggy Notion Merlot and a choice between wood fired Margarita Pizza and the Pretty Pig and you have agastrointestinal hit. This is not a large venue and the owner acknowledges this. Just ask him?you can find him mixing with thecustomers. His goal seems to be to give back to the community. Anywho?come to Roland Winery and leave the better. Read more

I went to this location with somebody who had a reunion with her high school class. I thought that the glass of wine that I had... was good and the food that they served for the event was fantastic. The staff that worked at this location were finally. Theevent I attended was mostly outdoors so I never actually went inside for indoor dining. I hope to return someday for a morethorough review. Very small, neighborhood startup. Lovely place to go on a nice Eve. Be aware the Sheriff\'s Dept cruises by here so DD a must.
Just stopped by to hear the band. Had a glass of very nice Chardonnay. Band was great also.
