This place has become my favorite go-to place for soul food on Sundays. The chicken and dressing okra and greens were delicious,... especially the banana pudding. The vibe here can be busy at times but that's to be expected. this restaurant reminds me of agullah geechee restaurant back home. kinda wish they were listed on doordash. I would easily pay the difference just to havetheir food again so far the experience has been pleasant. Read more

Waste, fraud, and abuse. If you ever want to fleece the government ask this dump. They were contracted to feed 400+ soldiers... breakfast and dinner. They repeatedly ran out of food, served unsustainable portions, and made others sick. This fleabag of a"catering" company maximized its profit at the expense of service members. Not only is this what I opened with, but this is alsodisgraceful. I'd give it negative stars if Google would allow it. One star is disrespectful to the worst cook you could thinkof. Tried to eat here twice. First time they were closed 30 mins before the actual closing time. Second time the door was locked but... the inside was full of people. No one came to the door to open it so I just left. I try to support black owned businesses asmuch as possible but this level of service will not get this restaurant any further than East Texas.
