So we decided to do a delivery order and it was Denny's to the rescue. Not sure why all the negative reviews but kind of figure... it's the people here in East Texas not so much the restaurant staff. Dash quoted me a delivery time between 40 and 60 minutesand my food was here exactly 45 minutes after I placed the order. The driver was a little lost but that's nothing to complainabout because I do live out in the middle of nowhere. What I can complain about is that the driver did not read the directionsthat I had given when I placed my order. This would have solved a lot of headaches and the food would have been delivered a lotsooner. Order number one - brisket melt with a side order of hash browns. This was husband approved and he enjoyed every bit ofit. Order number two - patty melt with a side order of seasoned fries. Anybody who knows Denny's knows it's all about theirseason fries that's it that's all the sides you need. Patty melt was delicious and fresh. Burger was juicy & onions cookedperfect. Order number three - appetizer combo which we included Buffalo bites, onion rings, chips & queso, and chicken strips.This is the perfect picky kid approved meal because it offers a little bit of everything. We decided on a side of the newNashville hot sauce and that sauce is absolutely delicious. I wish they had given us a few more of those cuz my daughterdefinitely did enjoy them and this is usually a child that just likes ranch dressing with her chicken nuggets. Order numberfour - cobb salad this included bacon, fresh avocado, tomatoes, cheese, hard boiled eggs and potato sticks on top of iceberglettuce. Dressing of choice of course was Ranch. It was a good salad minus the Potato Sticks there was just way too many of themand they did not add any nice flavor or texture to the salad at all. I wish they had just serve those on the side. Great food and service. I really enjoyed my meal. They were having air conditioner issues so none of the salt shakers worked but... that was ok. I felt comfortable over tipping which is what I like to do. Read more

I really enjoyed my meal and the service provided. The waitress was absolutely friendly and attentive. She smiled and joked with... us, making the visit very nice. The eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and sausages were cooked perfectly. The pancakes were fluffy andhot. My coffee and milk were always kept full. After an extensive wait, I had to track someone down just to get our drink order... and then the stand in manager had to go find... out why we still haven't received any service. Food took forever to get here... Although I will say that after it was pointedout that we had been forgotten about, Faith, the stand in manager, did an excellent job of correcting the situation.
