Bon Appétit has a monopoly over LeTourneau students; they have a guaranteed income and no competition, giving no incentive to... make good food. And you can tell they don't have incentive. No day-to-day variety in food, consistently undercooked chicken.Until there is competition it will not get better. Read more

I don't blame this terrible review on the people, I blame it on the company: Bon Apetit, and their management. The company is... known to make high quality meals for industries such as Google, however the contract signed by LeTourneau gives students alow-quality, less-than-enjoyable meal selection. The people hired are very nice, however they do not have the proper trainingneeded for cooking. Raw meats, half-baked pastries, and unappetizing entrees flood the cafeteria. For roughly $3000 per student, the price of these meals is sickening. To make things worse, Bon Apetit stopped giving straws to their customers, however thereare some people with physical disabilities that REQUIRE a straw to eat. But whatever, 'bon apetit and enjoy your meal' Read more

I haven't had any of the upset stomach issues others have complained about and I eat there once or twice every day of the week.... It is a cafeteria and preparing large quantities of food is difficult and while there are some things like rice that I neverget, and some things are hit or miss (pizza and chicken), there's usually at least one option that's good. Overall quality hasimproved over the last few years too and it's not uncommon to see more gourmet options like Kalamata olives and sun-driedtomatoes to top pasta or salad. Desserts have also been really good this semester as has the artisan bread they've startedoffering. So yes, I could eat better and cheaper if I was off campus and made my own meals but for a cafeteria at a school thissize, it's pretty good, not to mention the time saved from not cooking! My only complaint would be the silverware bins areconsistently greasy and have crumbs in the bottom. Not sure how those get there but I think they should start washing silverwareand their bins more thoroughly . Read more

The only reason that this place receives a one star is because of the two employees who always make me smile. However, the smile... is quickly robbed from my face when I am met with raw or burnt foods and the rest of the staff being full of angst. Many timesthe staff that I encounter are rude and make snarky comments if they say anything at all. I have never seen an establishmentthat hires such people. Secondly, I will touch on the food, I have attached a photo of a piece of chicken I received. It iscommon place here at saga to receive under cooked chicken and under cooked pork. On the other hand, the FROZEN burgers are burntto a puck and the rice is always crunchy. How can anyone sit there and pay any amount for frozen food. This place is despicableso much in fact that when I have guest come to visit me they only eat here once then they want to go somewhere else. Read more
